If cleanliness is next to godliness, then this place is ran by a demon. A few months ago, my wife and I ate here over the weekend during lunch. We noticed a wrapper, wadded up into a little ball, up on one of their hanging pieces of furniture. That piece of garbage was there each time we visited over the span of the next few weeks. The restrooms are poorly maintained the occasional time I’ve gone to use them. And I’ve seen more people standing around in the back than I’ve seen someone cleaning the lobby. 1/5
The food, for the most part, is what I’ve come to expect from a McDonalds. They no longer have the Hi-C Orange, but that has no bearing for this review as it seems to be a corporate decision. I make sure they know about it, though, in the futile hopes that corporate will back out this bad decision. They’ve also removed the chicken wraps, though. The menu variety is not as good as it used to be, so that’s a huge negative. 2/5
Pricing.. well, I remember when a Big Mac value meal was $4.25. The sandwich is more expressive than that now. It’s still somewhat competitive to Burger King, which is a couple blocks up the road, but the BK food seems better quality and a better value for the price. They don’t have a cheap and fast value meal for $5 such as Taco Bell or Kentucky Fried Chicken, both within a couple blocks from this McDonalds. Also, somewhat annoyed coming from a town where it cost nothing to up-charge a coffee to this location, where it does. Food service makes entirely too much money on their drink markups. 2/5
Speed of service is shaky at best. Even on the activity graph provided by Google Maps, there are low activity hours where I’ve waited long just because they don’t have appropriate staffing to handle traffic. If there isn’t a lot of people there, then you’ll probably get through in a decent amount of time. Pro tip: if you’re in a hurry avoid the place if you see their truck in the front. They use employees to unload and don’t seem to schedule additional people. 3/5
Hours of operation: about their only good quality. They’re open late (later than I stay up) and open early (5am). Only reason I get my breakfast here, though, is that Taco Bell and Burger King doesn’t open that early. Of course, that just means I have to deal with their flaws far...
Read moreEDIT: 9/5/2022 COMPLETE TURNAROUND! Over the past year or 2 this location has made a complete turnaround. I don't know what they did, but congratulations! I haven't had a bad experience here in months. Hot and fresh food and speedy service on every order! I'm going to leave my original review down below, though, so people can see the incredible improvement they have made.
I've been to McDonald's restaurants all over the world and this is the worst location I've ever been to. (This review applies to my drive-thru experiences, 2015-2020 only. I've never been inside.) The service is unbelievably slow. I have been at the drive through speaker before and have had 2 cars go through the other speaker lane and have their orders taken without being asked what I wanted. The wait times at the drive through are mind boggling. 10 - 15 minutes is not unusual, and I've waited 22 minutes for an order before. I had already paid so I couldn't just drive off, either. The wait times would not be so bad if it meant you were getting a hot meal, however that isn't usually the case. And the quality of the food they serve had been very poor at times in my experience. I've gotten home to unwrap cheeseburgers that looked like they were dunked in grease. You could actually see the line on the buns. Quarter Pounders with the bottom bun missing, ice cold fries dumped half out in the bag. The only reason I've given this location 2 stars instead of one is because if you get there at the transition time, when they are just starting to serve lunch, you will usually get an incredible meal with everything done right. Other than that, just keep driving past...
Read moreWe had 2 separate orders, both for curbside pick-up. Both orders were placed at the same exact time, and were both for the same number parking spot. The first order came out after about 5 minutes. Then, part of the second order came out some time later. We asked where the rest of it was, and the kid said, "I don't know, we're really busy right now. Have a good night!" And he walked back inside. So we were left wondering if we were going to get the rest of our food. A few minutes later, someone else came out with the missing items. No explanation or apology.
My fries were cold and rubbery. Everyone else's were nice and fresh. Lucky me. My quarter pounder had one slice of cheese that was kind of thrown in the direction of the burger. All the bacon was in one small pile in the middle of the burger. I did not get the extra pickles I ordered, but I sure did get a LOT of onions, for some reason. The burger that was supposed to have extra onions did not, and all the onions were in one pile.
I understand being busy, but it doesn't take much effort to take pride in your job, or offer an apology...
