I was so excited to take my family to this place because of all of the hype. Unfortunately I was left disappointment. The reviews all say how wonderful the experience was. I felt like I waited 30 minutes to have a plain, unseasoned burger served to me on a napkin by a waitress who I didn't see again for another 20 minutes. My family and I arrived at 11:30 am on a Saturday. We waited outside for 15 minutes while they prepared our table. The hostess was amazing and deserves whatever they pay her plus more. The restaurant is very small and doesn't seat very many people. I'm guessing that this is why everyone has to wait to be seated. After we were seated and settled, we ordered all of our food. Once I received mine I was incredibly disappointed. I ordered the "Blue and Bacon Burger." I saw that all of the ingredients were on the burger but all I tasted was raw onion. This is because there was absolutely 0 seasoning added to the burger meat. I then tasted my daughter's cheese burger only to find exact same problem. Stella's doesn't add any seasoning to their meat or burgers. Please do not follow the hype of this restaurant if you are looking for a great burger and experience. What you will find is the plainest burger you have ever tasted delivered to you on a napkin like you were at a dive fast food restaurant chain. I was not impressed by the service, the food or the execution. I'm having a hard time believing that anyone else had a great experience. Why is this place getting such...
Read moreFive stars definitely. No, it's not a fancy upscale dining establishment, but when compared to other burger joints Stella's definitely sets itself apart from the others the rest in the most important way possible, the burger itself. Don't be shocked when your food is served on paper napkins or in a paper container. The dinnerware is not fancy. It doesn't have to be and you won't care because you'll be too busy focused on how good the burger is. The sizable patty is prepared in a manner that leaves it tender and juicy with a perfect blend of seasoning. I ordered a basic hamburger so that I can get a real feel for what the meat itself taste like. The other person at dinner that night ordered a burger that had everything on it including fried egg and peanut butter. When it was brought to the table and smells so delicious I almost immediately regretted not ordering one for myself. That'll be for my next trip because there will be more. We went just before close yet retreated like it was the middle of the day there was no rush to get out the door the food was still hot and good and fresh the service was still friendly and helpful. Consider the time of day that you go cuz if you go during the lunch or dinner rushes and you will have a line to wait. The atmosphere is very casual and come as you are which is good and needs to be comfortable for a good...
Read moreI've heard good things about Stella's for years and being someone who loves a good burger I was excited to try. Sadly it was a terrible experience for the first time. The wait time was way longer than quoted, which is forgivable as they were busy when we first arrived but had slowed significantly by the time we were seated. The waitress seemed rushed and annoyed when we asked for a few more mins to look over the menu, she then came back within a minute while we were still looking at the menu and asked if we were ready. So I just picked the namesake, Stella's staple burger. My patty was small for the bun and under seasoned, bun sadly wasn't toasted either. It just seemed like a burger I could get at a chain burger place. The onion rings I don't think are made from scratch as the first one I bit in to was very cold / frozen in the middle. When pointing this out they immediately redropped them (including the one I spit out) in to the oil for a couple more mins instead of just remaking them. They were crispy at least. The waitress dropped off the check halfway in to eating and never bothered to ask if we needed anything else at any point after we ordered food. Overall It really was just a disappointment and I don't know that I...
