DO NOT GO HERE. I have never felt this passionately about leaving a bad review. We ordered take out and we’re excited to try a new Thai place and were encouraged by its Google reviews. My partner ordered “seattle’s best, award-winning” pad Thai which was not only gross and over cooked but came with dry chicken instead of tofu. My pad kee mao had about three noodles that could be identified as noodles. When I bit into them they were so over cooked they dissolved in my mouth. The rest was gelatinous goop the looked like it has been already chewed up. The fried tofu had hard bits on it that had to be spit out. The coconut milk on the mango sticky rice was salty and the sticky rice itself was hard in the middle. When we called the lady said she could not give us a refund but she would credit our account so we could come back. I informed her we would not be doing so and she said we would see a refund within 2-3 business days. Let’s hope that happens. Other reviews on yelp talk about hairs and roaches being found in food. So gross.

My sister and I had lunch here yesterday and it was delicious. Love that they have lunch combinations so you get several flavors and delicious choices. We both ordered red curry chicken. First course was a nummy soup then with the curry, came wonderful veggie phad thai, little spring rolls and fluffy jasmine rice. All for a very reasonable $15. The tray of hot seasonings came with the most flavorful and beautifully prepared bowl of thai chilies perfectly cut in tiny slices and marinating in a nummy liquid. Hot but so flavorful. The menu is terrific and has the usual dishes plus great dishes you don't see in all thai places. The women working there were chearful, helpful, and attentive. The restaurant is comfortable clean and decorated with lots of wood and touches of Thailand. Their parking lot is a bit tricky to get to so we parked behind in a different shopping area and walked around to get there. Not a big deal. This is a restaurant well worth going to. We can't wait to go back.

I am a person who pursues perfection. I have been eating here for several years, and, for a while, every day, The owner is a very kind and hardworking person, the atmosphere is very comfortable, no matter which country you come from, you can feel very comfortable here, using fresh ingredients, no MSG, using homemade chili sauce and some Homemade condiments, a big difference here is that the chef understands the perfect combination of various ingredients. There are pork, beef and shrimp combinations, all kinds of ginger and spicy grades. Unexpectedly, there are actually Some authentic Chinese dishes, very classic spicy eggplant, in short, this is one of the few best restaurants, even in Thailand, it is also considered the best Thai restaurant! It is especially recommended that the beef salad combination is very healthy and delicious. It has both classic American quality beef and some Hawaiian style. Be sure to try it!

On 2-12-2024 we had a meal at Thai Ginger in Factoria. The service was ok but the food was no able to be eaten. We ordered 2 Star and received at least a 4 star. We could not eat the food, it was simply too hot and they never checked back with us to comment. Finally, at the end of the meal time, the waiter never came back, he was "server D". When we went up to pay, we told him that we could not eat the food. They seem to act like they do not understand English but he did. My husband did leave a tip and he nearly beat him up over the amount. He nearly chased my husband down and started yelling him at the door and showed a lot of anger. We tried to explain to him that the service was marginal, that he never came bank and that we could not eat the food. We did not even take it home. The following day, I called to talk with the owner, wo we know. I was told she was out of town so I called Redmond Town Center. I talked with May, who said she was the manager. I told her what happened and asked to speak to the owner. She told me she was out of the county. I told May what happened and she told us to come to Redmond one night and ask for her and she would replace the meal that we could not eat. It was $74.36. We went last night and we had a good meal. When she brought the bill, I reminded her what she said and she apparently misrepresented that she is not the manager and went to talk with Ken, who said he was the manager. She lied about what she told us but then recalled her conversation with me and told Ken and he came back our table and said, "if you don't pay, I will call security". Ken states he called the owner and she said we had to pay. I have no idea if he called her or not but all of this has been a horrific experience and after 20 years of going to Thai Ginger, we will never go back. There is constant turn over and the food in Factoria is not consistently good. There is no reason for any restaurant to treat good customers like this and especially people who have gone for over 20 years, Even then the owner was in prison, we supported her restaurant. These people are crooks and highly dishonest. For any owner to allow her employees to treat nice people like this is unbelievable especially, when she herself spent a great deal of time in Sea-Tac prison for dishonest acts. The credibility starts with the owners down. We plan to dispute the charges with Visa. This restaurant has gone hill and all of them have gone out of business but two now. Also, the business has been very diminished in Factoria so others must be experiencing the bad good, constant turn over and increased prices. I would strongly avoid Vivian's two Thai Ginger restaurants especially when employees nearly beat you up and then...

At lunch I watched from the line at the door that they have very bad habits... the busser puts her hands into all the dirty dishes and then without washing her hands handles all the clean plates silverware and glasses. NOBODY WASHES THEIR HANDS!!!!! Instead of using the hand sink for hand washing in full view, they use it for rinsing glassware. The same busser will touch all the plates people have eaten off (NOBODY uses trays for clearing dishes) and then she pours ice into pitchers and covers the scoop of ice with her dirty hand, then she carries the pitcher with her thumb hooked over the inside of the pitcher. The same woman set a plate on my table then came and said sorry put her hands on my plate picked it up and dried it with a napkin in front of my face... they carry soups and drinking glasses by the edges .. and put the soup cup right (who knows where it has been?) on my food plate.. then expected me to use that to put my food on from a serving dish. I ate and asked for a straw so I would make contact with the glass... I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN. I might even call the health department that is how disgusting their practices are. This was at lunch and I know they are extremely busy but to NEVER wash their hands from dirty to clean dishes or dirty dishes to serving food, to...

Bad service experience with manager The food was ok. It's the service I didn't appreciate. I was having dinner with a friend I hadn't seen in over a year. We had dinner at about 5 pm and then asked for to-go containers for our leftovers. My friend and I sat there drinking some green tea and catching up. There were a couple of other families in the restaurant, however as soon as our dishes were cleared, the "manager" Tina came over to our table and DEMANDED that my friend and I clear our bill right away. I was shocked by this behavior, so I asked her if they were closing as they hadn't asked the other people in the restaurant to pay. It was 6pm by then, and her response was, "they usually close early on slow days", which obviously wasn't true because there were piles to takeout orders by the counter waiting to be picked up. I told her that we would pay when we were done with our tea and ready to leave. She hovered by our table until we paid the bill. I think she thought my friend and I being "black people" would not pay. I was very offended and didn't bother leaving a tip. I'll not be eating here ever again and I'll tell my friends not to. This is not a good way to treat...
