We went in for lunch for rhe first time. The restaurant has nice decor and peaceful environment feel when we walk in. The male greeter were very polite and told us that he would be right with us after leading the first group to their seats. After we sat down, the server asked if we had been to the restaurant before, then proceed with explaining on how to use the QR code to scan for menu and order it through our phone. He told us that he will come back to confirm with our orders and indicate the hot water thermos bottle for us.
I love the way the restaurant offer QR code menu, to order and paid with our own phone. I LOVE that each table already provide with hot water bottle so we don't need to chase after server for more.
The lady came back to confirm with our order and let us know that the braise beef in clay pot would be some what spicy if we are fine with that.
Our order of the Chinese broccoli with mince garlic and braised beef is just what we expected--restaurant grade authentic Sichuan cuisine.
We had to pack the braise beef to go because it does come with decent portion. The server brought the dish back to pack for us into the to-go box.
This is what is the WOW* service BEYOUND* my expectation comes.
When I go home and unpack my Togo box, the server put a plastic wrap inside the dish before closing the LID!!
How many times have you experienced your Togo box sit in soggy oil inside the plastic bag and had to wipe, change container for the spill!! No other restaurant has done this before. This demonstrates how they serve customers beyond expectations and their success in the dining industry.
Too bad that I didn't take my orders in the restaurant but the dishes are true to menu photo.
Will definitely go back and it has indeed earned a 5...
Read moreThe worst dining experience I've ever had. The waitress repeatedly complained about our service dog's behavior, despite the dog being well-behaved. She eventually called the owner, who, without any notice or communication with us, called the police to have us removed from the restaurant because we had a service dog with us. The lack of understanding and respect was astonishing.
-- Reply to the Owner's response: The waitress approached us several times, and we agreed to keep the dog on our lap instead of the ground. She assured us that she had spoken with the owner and that this would be allowed as an exception. This was the last we heard from her. Our dog was well-behaved and didn’t disturb anyone.
A few minutes later, the owner arrived with two police officers and, without any prior communication or explanation, asked us to leave the restaurant. If as a owner, you’re not going to stand by your word, then please don’t make promises.
Additionally, the waitress never mentioned that our dog was disturbing other customers; she only advised us to avoid causing any disturbances. If there was a miscommunication, it could have been clarified. The lack of communication and understanding was unacceptable.
Lastly, it's quite concerning that the waitress's front teeth were bleeding and there was no proper coverage or protection, yet she continued to interact...
Read morejust alright, say no to pig's snout!!! -
We came here mostly because I got a coupon for spending more than $88 at Asian food center on their anniversary or some sort. Upon entry, you need to put your name on the wait-list using the little tablet. We waited for maybe 20 minutes before getting seated for dinner. The place was packed, but there was a lot of potential for extra tables..
We ordered mapo tofu 麻婆豆腐, sweet and sour spareribs 糖醋小排, and Sichuan string beans 乾癟四季豆. We also get a free country stir-fried with house smoked pig's snout 農家香香嘴. They also don't give you rice for free, so we had to get a bowl of rice as well.
The mapo tofu was not like other places, the sauce is mostly red like chili oil. Not the style I like. The string beans were fine but a little dry for us. The sweet and sour spareribs was really good, but the portion is super small and it's mostly bones. Maybe that's why that fish is $14.99 when others were like $20s. We didn't enjoy it the taste of pig's snout and it was a bit "too strong" for us. We ended up not touching that free dish.
Overall the meal here was disappointing, and I think we probably ordered the wrong thing. I'd probably come back here to try their other dishes, but given that it's a bit far from us now, it will take another 5-10 years for that...
