I went in at around 10am for a late breakfast. There were atleast 5 other tables filled and 3 people at the counter. My waitress came over fairly quick and took my drink order. I ordered immediatly. I ordered the farmers breakfast 2 eggs over easy. Hash browns, bacon and white toast, plus a half order of biscuits and gravy. Food was brought out fairly quickly also. My waitress asked if i needed anything, I said no. Bad mistake on my part. She never came back to my table. No one checked on me thewhole time I sat there. The toast was soft and floppy. Bacon was burnt around the edges and my hash browns were cold. The gravy for the biscuits and gravy was pretty dang good. The biscuits were hard and had to be cut with the butter knife. I just ate the gravy from around them. Finally another waitress came over with a bill reader machine and asked if i was ready to pay. Not how was my meal or can I get you anything else. I payed with my card and left a 15% tip which brought my total to roughly $26. I personally will not be back to "The lighthouse Cafe" There arent many more options for breakfast in Bellevue, but the ones there are, will be a way...

We used to go to the coffee shop regularly and...
Read moreAfter visiting the orthodontist office next door we decided to walk around downtown to see what was around and came across this place and it was a no brained to check them out. The atmosphere is laidback but with a kind, helpful and welcoming attitude. You can not go wrong with checking this place out. They have counter seating similar to what was around in the 80s and beyond. I also enjoyed that the food came out dishes from the 50s and 60s. They also have their own brand of waffles mix they use. Plus if you are in need they have a small shelf out front of free baked goods. They offer daily specials. Be mindful that they do...
