Bellflower Bagels & Java Too — Restaurant in Bellflower

I love a good local spot so decided to try this one as it had many great reviews. My experience was nothing like the raving reviews. I was greeted with a rude person, and she tried to make me buy donuts after telling her NO three times. I ordered a breakfast bagel and Iced coffee. Coffee was terrible, tasted like a cheap Nesquick Chocolate milk and in regards to the bagel.....I was given a plain bagel with cream cheese and thank goodness I checked before leaving. When I came back in to let them know, the lady who took my order just vaguely said sorry as she walked out the door and had the other worker make my correct sandwich. It was lacking flavor other than way too much salt from the cheap bacon, cheap cheese that wasn't even melted and a dry poor tasting Bagel. Couldn't even eat it. The owner and her staff are always so friendly and sweet..drive thru is available best bagels in Bellfower this place has been here for a long time now…back in my U.S. Healthworks days I would take these to my staff. I've never had the chance to eat here before. I know it's been here forever but just busy I guess . Well I don't think I'll be coming back unless they have new cleaning and food handling rules implemented.
