Amazing BBQ!

I had the ribs and tri-tip with potato salad and collard greens.

Everything was delicious but the ribs were the star! So flavorful, tender and juicy, I’m definitely gonna hit these guys up the next time they are in town.

The collard greens were very very good. Less people tend to like collard greens so these can sometimes get over looked but not here.

The owner was also super nice. The kind of guy you root for to be successful. He spent some time talking with us and even explained how he sourced his meat from local farms so it can be as fresh as possible. A nice touch shows he...

I was having the greatest day. Show up to a farmers market turned the corner and saw stacks of records so I’m going through them when I was greeted by the unmistakable smell of BBQ! I followed my nose and there it was. OWENS BBQ and all its glory. Had a line of folks that were “oooing and awwing” when the orders were coming out from the grill to the cutting board to rest. Darn good bbq! Brisket is flavorful and tender even without BBQ sauce, the bark and seasoning on the meat is delicious. The Beef Sausage is smokey with some kick to it, definitely a standout meat optional. Ribs are tender and also seasoned really well. The BBQ sauce is tangy just how I like it.
