We came to Tacos Culiacan to celebrate my Comadre's belated birthday. It just happened to be on Viernes Santo. So I was excited to see if they had Cuaresma food. THEY DID!!! I ordered the Shrimp Patties topped with Nopales in Salsa Roja with a side of Beans & Rice with three Homemade Corn Tortillas. My Comadre got the Chiles Rellenos con Queso with Beans & Rice and the Tortillas. We also got a side of the Queso to add to the beans and the tacos. It added a yummy 'just like home' flavor. She gets bothered if you ask her for more coffee or sugar or napkins.. she's really bad.
