King Taco # 30 — Restaurant in Bellflower

I am a huge fan of King Taco. The food is just tasty.

I usually go for tacos de chicharrón and a taco de asada con todo. There is just something about this location. It is always really, really packed. Even pre-pandemic. I believe this is a testament to the reputation King Taco has of having delicious food. So I can understand it.

BUT still - me and my partner just ordered and we've been waiting 30 minutes for our food and it seems we might be looking at waiting 30 minutes more. Then I see 6 windows and only 2 employees manning them.

In addition, I've had negative experiences at this place with customer service before today. The salsa quandary always seems to cause the workers to have a bit of an attitude it seems sparked by it. And the customer gets it. I feel this also has to do with why it takes such an incredibly long time to get your order.

Overall, it just never is an enjoyable experience here ever. Other King Taco locations are a little better and well run in my opinion.

A co-worker from these parts in the Los Angeles area suggested the best full meat burrito and King Raco came to his mind. Being from out of town on work, I have the opportunity to try the areas I visit and the co worker native to the area and their favorite "diners, drive-ins and dives".

Well, being that Kjng Raco is a chain to the So-Cal area, I will at the least try once. If I like, will visit again or at.leasr keep in mind on the next visit. So this full meat burrito. Your choice of meat, marinated in Lime, Cilantro and Onion is so tender (honestly one of the soft meat I ever had) and served upon request with Red chili sauce, Green Salsa or Both. The burrito selection can be in a combination, added with Refried Beans, rice and Salsa Fresca. The All Meat burrito was so fulfilling and delicious. Adding the hot sauce and green salsa was just "icing on the cake". So much so, that I forgot to snap a picture of the final product.

I.only give King Taco and perhaps this location 4-Stars to the fact that no offering or honoring of Vererans or Armed Forces discount....

This place is a pretty good place to grab lunch. The only reason I am giving 3 stars is because one of the staff was quite rude. It is very busy, but we didn’t have to wait long. The staff at the register were pleasant and friendly. When my number was called (in Spanish), I went up to the counter and the lady looked at me confused. I told her they just called my number. She repeated it in English as though she didn’t expect me to understand Spanish and thought I had heard the wrong number. I said yes ma’am that’s me, and she rolled her eyes. She then asked what sauce I would like, green or red. I asked for one of each (I got 3 tacos), but she said only one. I looked at the people next to me and they were holding two sauces each. I looked back at her and said, “Really?” Then asked for the green. The guy next to me handed me a red, and said he wasn’t going to use it. She then proceeded to talk about me in Spanish, again like I didn’t understand. I was really confused as to why she had an issue, but it was not very professional at all. I will not be back to...
