Winchell's Donut House — Restaurant in Bellflower

I live in Rosarito Beach Mexico… Baja California and when I come to our house in Bellflower I first stop at Winchell’s on Artesia and Downey Ave. it’s family owned there and We love The beautiful family that owns and operates it… And, our large coffees are amazing hot and everything they make is made with love of the Community… I will never stop going there… they’re so sweet so sweet it rubbed off on me that I even invite my ex-husband for there great tasting Coffee and, his favorite now is the Ham and cheese croissant 🥐 with his coffee… I love there maple bar and the doughnut holes!… They always make beautiful doughnut holes with today is Halloween 🎃 decorated doughnut holes… I just love it there… I’d like to say I’m so grateful to them for opening a place where the community gets together in the morning for some hot coffee and a chat… Thanks for...

I went there on Sunday and got a donut it cost 1.24 I gave the cashier 5.25 and she gave .01 back. When I asked for my change she argued with me i only gave her 1.00 . Now she didn't pay attention and assumed I gave her a dollar. So she refused t give me my change, I then told her go look at the camera so she could see. She comes back on the phone with a note pad in her hand trying to tell me come back tomorrow since she cant view the recording. I had to ask to speak with her manager which was not onsite and demand t give me my change r i was calling the police that was ridiculous. I'm in the area. I came once in the morning for a quick coffee and donut, good service. I decided to come at night thinking I could peacefully have coffee with my wife; Wrong@!! Playing ugly music and to loud. I felt like i was in rural area of Mexico. I'm not from high class Italian or anything alike, just another simple Hispanic who dreams to have a pleasant coffee shop in the area.
