Continue to read on These are the worst burger’s, in the last month I’ve tried 4 Dave’s Doubles thinking I’d have to get a better burger than the last each time and they are repetitively low grade compromised meat either from bad cows or storage but they are supposed to have not been frozen.
I think it’s low grade beef I suspect from low grade cattle but I am not sure of the chain's storage without freezing but I’ve had far better burgers at other Wendy’s.
Previously frozen burgers usually aren’t any good with exception for the occasion at Dairy Queen and random occasions at other or should I say the general occasion. However previously frozen burgers like at Boomers on Samish are pathetic.
And McDonald’s about roughly 5 or so years ago had an ‘Angus burger’ they were selling but they put an end to what had been a good burger in favor of a compromised meat which is more like derived from pink slime so was the’ very last burger I will attempt eating there totally disgusting. That was in Florida and I will not eat another 1 of there burgers ‘anywhere.
So I’ve also tried 3 JR Double Stacks at this Wendy’s on Samish and today I asked for an extra patty because 2 don’t cut it with the bun the bun overrides the beef so I tried 3 and have to tell you there’s nothing good about the apparent management at this particular Wendy’s. The meat in the Double Stack is terrible. It’s a most serious issue.
I used to get good burgers at Wendy’s in Florida and at the Meridian Wendy’s in 2019 and 4 years ago I used to get a great Double Stack junior burger at this one but this one today on Samish and Bill McDonald PKWY is 1 to steer clear of. Yuk what a disappointment!
I’ve given them every random last chance for a good burger to have happened but out of 7 tries it just hasn’t. Yes. A waste of money.
Before I go I can direct you to a fantastic burger at the Bellis Fair Mall on Meridian. They spent a lot of money getting set up in the food court but I don’t think they are getting much business so I don’t know how long they might be there:
They have named themselves 2 Guys and it’s a (fantastic) burger joint right there when you walk in the front door. They do a single and a double and they aren’t messing around they are turning over good eating burgers. They also have 3 types of slushies 3 different flavors I like the Sour Green Apple flavor and it’s the tastiest best slushy I’ve ever...
Read moreI did not even get to try this place because when I went and pulled up the girl with the acne /freckles all over said the card reader was down and that they were only taking cash. She did not explain what I could do to make my order. It did not seem like she was interested in making money for the business. It was Like she was trying the push customers away so her job could be easier. I had no idea where to go inside to make the order. I've never been here before. And all I could see was the kitchen where I was parked. So I had to keep asking her where do i go? Do I go in the kitchen here and pay for the food? like? Can't you take my card and pay for the order When it's ready and she said she couldn't take everybody's card because it was too busy. She couldn't do that for each customer. So I asked her well What can I do to make an order? It was like i was begging her. That's unacceptable. I shouldn't have had to keep asking her. She should have volunteered the options Because I'm a customer. Also I'm a new customer who doesn't have any idea how to order At this place. Theres no buttons like at sonics to press. You cant see the whole entire angle of the business and that there is an actual dine in area from where you park. I didnt see that until after I drove around. The people answering the phone to take the orders were just letting the phone ring and ring. and when they did answer, it was like they didnt care less that You're trying to give them money for the business. I ended up leaving because it seemed so stupid to pay for this mediocre food and service. Why should i do that? I'm not sure how these people are getting hired or how this place expects to stay open if they let money walk right out the door and dont care about customers and dont care about the business model. Maybe they dont even have one and are just riding off being an older local place. Thats not good enough. The reviews say that the food is not all that yet I was still willing to come try for myself. And its like not even the workers themselves believe in their own work, or in their...
Read moreMy wife and I have lived in Bellingham for over 30 years but never tried Boomers. Read an article that rated this place as #1 in WA State for burgers. Today 12-15-23 we decided to try them out.
My wife ordered their Bacon Swiss burger with curly fries and a shake. I ordered the big boom, with bacon and onions, curly fries and Dr. Pepper.
Maybe it was an “off day” for the cook, but these burgers were absolutely some of the worst we have eaten in many years.
Negative food comments: Both burgers were absolutely cold when delivered and so were the fry’s. Burger Pattie’s were not even warm enough to begin melting the cheese. The menu sign said 1/2 pound burger for the Boomer so I was expecting a nice thick, juicy burger. Instead, it had two thin Pattie’s cooked hard as a rock. My wife actually took her cold burger back to the counter and asked to have it warmed up. The waitress said “we don’t do that, I will bring you a new order”. 15 minutes later a new burger sack came out and guess what, burger and fry’s were ice cold, cheese not even warm. Wife took it back and asked sternly for it to be nuked.
Wife asked for “extra, extra, dill pickles as she does on all burgers, it arrived with 3 small pickle slices.
Buns fell apart in our hands, not from being a juicy patty (because they were dry as a bone) but most likely from being old.
The rock hard Pattie’s on both burgers has zero flavor.
I have eaten better fry’s that were frozen and you cook in an oven.
Other than that, I can see why the person who rated the burgers here scored them so high.
We have had much better burgers at: McDonalds Wendy’s BurgerKing Frozen food section of the store. Roadside vendors in...
