Dumpling Girls — Restaurant in Bellingham

First time trying, came here based on the reviews, we ordered the dumplings, baos, spicy pork noodle soup, and donuts

Taste 0/1* Dumplings were ok, nothing outstanding. Baos were greasy as opposed to the perfect crisp from the way it looks. Pork noodle soup had a generous amount of noodles, but overall was too oily and bland Donuts were again greasy and not sweet enough

Value 0/1* Unfortunately have to place this as one of the most disappointing meals I’ve had in a while.. NOT BAD, but not good, just a big let down from 4.8

Service 1/1* Fast and friendly

Cleanliness 0.5/1* It’s a food truck with outside seating, only some spots are covered, which came as a surprise for us, and there were no one going around to clean up, so some leftovers were to be seen

I randomly came across someones review of the dumpling girls, and was surprised that i hadnt heard of them before, considering i pass by their location multiple times a day. So naturally i had to try them and im happy i did. I ordered dumplings, soup and the puff balls (i apologize for not remembering their actual name). As advertised, the food was homemade, and did not disappoint. And as with anything homemade versus boxed/frozen/processed, the food was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The menu isnt extensive, and it doesn't have to be. I cant wait to go back again, and i think anyone who is a fan of dumplings must try this place...

Forget about price and atmosphere for just a moment. The Cumin lamb and oyster mushrooms are among the best dishes in Bellingham. Period. I come here once a paycheck at least just to get them. Now I've finally got around to trying a different dish. This time the pork and wonton soup. Amazing. Safe to assume everything that comes out the kitchen is straight fire. So good

Now the atmosphere is great, everyone is different but the commonality is friendliness. Nice people, nice owners, and great food and chill vibe atmosphere.
