Fenex Coffee — Restaurant in Bellingham

This place was really new when I first tried them, so I give them the benefit of the doubt in my review. The food was meh but the coffee was really good. I got a bagel with cream cheese and the bagel had less than 1 tbsp cream cheese total for both side. It was a dry bagel by the time I peeled it apart and got to the other side. There simply was not enough cream cheese to cover both sides. I was really bummed. I would’ve loved to have a normal amount of cream cheese, but maybe that’s something they’ve figured out since I went initially. The coffee was really good. My husband got a “deli sandwich” which wasn’t toasted, but it didn’t say it was so that may be on him, but he wasn’t asked if he wanted it toasted. The option would be awesome. The barista I've encountered is really nice, will greet you when you walk in, and the coffee is delicious. This is a great coffee shop to visit IF you don't have to be anywhere.

Walked in and waited a few moments, the patron in front of me had already paid and the barista was preparing her drink. There seemed to be no sense of urgency to complete the transaction from there.

Went a couple times during their Eras Tour Weekend-themed menu and everything was delicious! We enjoyed the Lavender Haze, which was a lavender-blueberry latte, the 87 Lotus, a gold lotus base drink with watermelon, as well as the Tay's Chai Cookies Latte, a chai-sugar cookie-inspired latte and we loved all of them.
