When I walk into this Starbucks location there were two employees talking right behind the pastry counter in there own personal conversation, they made eye contact one said hello and then continued on with her conversation with the other staff. while I was standing near the register waiting to be helped. Another barista closer to the espresso bar finally walked up to the register to take my order. After I ordered. I was waiting for my drink to be made for about six minutes, know other customers were in the store being helped or waiting for drinks. I saw multiple cars going through the drive thru picking up there drinks. I finally walked up to the counter and asked the barista if anyone was making my cold brew. She acted like she forgot and then picked up the sticker that should have been placed on a Starbucks cup, it was placed on the counter. I’m waiting another five minutes while the barista is making my drink and she looks like she’s having issuing with the foam that goes on top of the salted caramel cold brew. I couldn’t wait any longer. I just asked for a refund. The barista at the counter still tried to give the drink to me that didn’t even look like a salted caramel cold brew all the foam was mixed in the cold brew with no foam on the top of the drink. I did not appreciate the way I was treated and how things were handled at that Starbucks location. Very disappointing. This experienced happened today and just within...
Read moreWe stopped here for a coffee and restroom break on our way back home from Canada. I have been to Starbucks all over the world and have never seen such awful non existent service than here. We stood in front of the cashier for probably 3 minutes without her even acknowledging us, not even asking “what can I help you with/what can I get you?” We had to engage and ask the cashier to order our drinks. Then I had to use the restroom and asked another employee for the bathroom code twice and they didn’t even acknowledge my existence, so I spoke up and asked a 3rd time for the bathroom code and a barista behind the other two employees gave it to me. Then they forgot to even get one of our drinks and we had to ask for it and they said “oh, we often forget to get the tea because we don’t get a ticket for it”. They admitted they often forget to do their jobs. I’m not sure what it is in today’s society, but there is no customer service anywhere and people are not kind and courteous. Like I said before no one even asked to take our order and I had to ask three times for the bathroom code. Not acknowledging customers is unacceptable. We need better customer service and social skills training in...
Read moreWhen I visited this store there were no other customers inside and only a couple of vehicles in the drive-thru. So different than here in Canada, where Starbucks are more frequently busy than not. A week or two before visiting this store, I had been to the Starbucks in Lynden two or three times. That store too was very quiet so I took the opportunity to talk to the barista & I found out that this was the only Starbucks in the town of Lynden. Initially I was shocked to hear this because here in Canada it seems like there's a Starbucks every where you look - and the majority of them are busy stores! Well, it didn't take me long to figure out the cause of this... the coffee at the US Starbucks is no where near the quality that it is here. Each coffee or coffee beverage I had from the US store was burnt! I commented to my American friend about this and he said, "yeah, that why we call it Charbucks!" Very strange that Starbucks doesn't correct this issue in the US - they could be making so much more money than they...
