Disappointed, I order the same thing every time. A 20 oz green tea with honey and a couple of ice cubes. Had a gal that I’ve never seen before, ordered the same thing. When I received my drink, it felt a lot hotter than usual. I confirmed that there was ice in there and she responded with ‘Yeah, like 10 cubes’. When I hesitantly tried it, not surprisingly, I burned my tongue. I went back and politely let them know, and asked for just a couple of more ice cubes. They dumped so much ice in it that it was luke warm. I’ve been a barista for 14 years- putting a couple of ice cubes into a drink to make it drinkable but still warm shouldn’t be this tough. The lack of customer service and how this was handled was disappointing. You guys have made your point, I’ll be finding a new coffee shop...
Read moreIt was so validating to read the other negative comments here.. the staff working, in the times I’ve gone have not been friendly. They’ve been short, walked away before I was done speaking, and just generally standoff-ish. Today, I ordered a sandwich as I do on days I forget to bring lunch. I attached the image of what it looked like.. barely any wilted lettuce and a thick smear of mayo in the center. I feel like the appropriate thing would have been to tell me they don’t have lettuce and I would have been fine without it. The coffee is never great, and today they poured oat milk into it without shaking the container, so all of the thick slimy looking stuff that is in nondairy milks ended up in my cup. Thankfully, the barista remade the drink for me.
Not worth the 18 dollars...
Read morewent to Cruisin Coffee this morning and ordered a latte. It didn’t taste right — no vanilla — so I went back and had them fix it. After that it was drinkable, so I kept it with me and finished it over the course of a couple hours. Near the bottom, something clogged the lid. When I checked, I found a broken fingernail floating in my drink — meaning I’d been sipping it the whole time with that in there. I nearly puked. Absolutely disgusting and horrifying that this is what I was served. This is completely unacceptable. At the very least, staff should be required to trim their nails or wear gloves. Customers shouldn’t have to worry about someone’s fingernail seasoning...
