Only "went" there when I was in a hurry and my son wanted McDonald's; which is not anymore thankfully. I will NEVER go to the one by the mall again if another at all. The REASON being is because last week my son's nice sweatshirt hoodie was stolen. We were the only ones in the play area and I called right away. When I called and they asked one person and promptly hung up on me, did not even look for it and dismissed me. They probably kept it. I can't even reorder one because it is sold out in his size. I promised I would replace the exact one since he really likes it. Now to the food. First off way to much salt in their fries that aren't even real potatoes. True story, had to write a report for school and it was called something like "Why McDonald's fries are not real." Although, my husband eats lunch at work there and it's only because it's so convenient. But I don't approve. If they brought back the REAL McChicken that was spicy with a better bun I would change my mind, but lighten up on the salt. People can add salt if they want it. I don't like that I am forced to buy an overpriced drink that I won't drink much of because I am forced to consume a teaspoon of salt. Take more time with orders. I know people want and are accustomed to instant gratification, but you could at least look twice at the order and make it without over using all condiments that are on the burger. Maybe some real fries would help and your patty game is weak. That sweatshirt is going to cost you more time because my hubby is eating elsewhere for lunch as well. Hope it was worth it. DQ is such a better option. I will delete this review if I get my son's size 8 blueish power Reebok...
Read moreI usually don't write reviews because I understand that mistakes can happen, but I feel that this issue needs to be addressed. I have been a regular customer at this location for a few years now. Unfortunately, I have received incorrect orders or missing items on multiple occasions.
Whenever this happens, I inform them that my order was incorrect, and sometimes, as a result, I end up with double the food because they can't take back what they gave me already. However, this seems to be a recurring problem, and it's getting frustrating.
I have received more free food than what I have actually paid for due to these recurring mistakes. While this is a positive thing in terms of getting more food for a cheaper rate, it would be better to have the correct order the first time without having to complain to workers who don't seem to care about my concerns.
There was one occasion when I ordered breakfast, and there were six people standing in line to fix their food orders during the morning rush; this can be used as an example, of the extent of this issue.
Along with this problem, the wait times for your order have been prolonged for more than 15 minutes; this happens in the drive-through and in-person ordering. By the time you get your food, it's cold and not pleasant.
I hope this can be used to make positive changes because when I come to this location, there was always a problem with food orders...
Read moreBy far the worst McDonald's location in all of Whatcom County. I for some reason have an addiction to Oreo McFlurries and I like to get extra Oreo, when I asked for said extra Oreo I was given a disgustingly oreo filled, and only half way up, kids cup size (which is not the correct receptacle for a regular size McFlurry) mess. There was less ice cream than there was oreo. It was an extremely obvious slap in the face I'm guessing due to the fact I pointed out that last time I went to that location I was disappointed with the little amount of oreo that adorned my McFlurry. Well I guess don't ever criticize their McFlurry making abilities because in return you will get something entirely inedible and basically what I can describe as a giant F U in a cup. The fries we got were also gross and not even close to freshly made, which I don't believe was even part of their sticking it to me and mine, those fries could have been gifted to any unsuspecting family in need of some salty deliciousness. I called and was rudely replied to, although I'll admit I was far from a satisfied customer, I also wasn't in any way out of line or even really rude at all. Just very sure that I had been punished deliberately for not liking my last order placed at that restaurant. Normally though most locations have a hard time remembering the extra Oreo but this was just ridiculous and...
