It was my first time visiting this place and was pleasantly surprised. We had the Menudo (only available on Saturday), Lengua & Asada tacos, and a tamale. Everything was very good. Tamale was moist and tasty. My wife loved the Menudo and said it was very tender and yummy. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. There is plenty of meat in the tacos. No idea how this joint rates a 4.6 average. In a market full of Mexican restaurants, this truly disappoints! Little street taco was ok, but the beef burrito sucked...greasy and too much rice with a sprinkling of minced beef and not much else inside. Burrito fell apart with all the grease. Wife’s Carne Asada was decent, But WAY overpriced at $11.99 for the small plate of maybe 1/2 cup rice and 1/4 cup tasteless refined beans; no corn tortillas. (. Lilla’s 10x Better at same price !) This is my favorite Mexican food in town. They have the best adobada, which is how I judge taquerias/taco trucks. Not greasy or overly salty, but very tasty. None of the food is particularly greasy, actually. A good variety of fillings in the burritos. The mulitas are especially delicious. Great food, well worth the extra 50 cents over competitors.
