Agave Mexican Food — Restaurant in Bellmawr

First of all I want to start off by say this place put me in a mood for the rest of the day that little girl at the counter either taking orders somebody needs to give her some manners class on how to be more impressionable I’ve never in my 48 years of living ever came across one of the most nastiest,rudest person I’ve ever met like she Ruined my day maybe my last 2 days I’ve been coming to this Mexican restaurant since the day they opened and spend so much money here because I get food for my whole family all I did was ask if they a platter that has pretty much everything in one trey I would’ve paid anything just to get everything in one platter she gave me an attitude and looked at me like I was crazy then I ask is it possible if I could get something like that that I would pay whatever she looked at me like I was crazy and then just stop talking to me altogether just started taking care of somebody else I will never in my life even if I have to drive to California to get tacos I will never come to this establishment ever again after all the money that i spend here I would think I would get better service than that and like I said I’m in here at least three times a week and I spend a minimum of $60 every single time get that Little girl out of there and every single time is...

After living in Southern California, I thought there would be no chance of having authentic Mexican food again once I was back in South Jersey. Until I found Agave! They give you a salsa verde with chips while you wait for your food and the salsa has such great flavor a I have to drown my food in it! The chorizo tacos, fish tacos, carnitas, and chicken burritos are all my favorite things to eat there. And you will crave their food again the next day! The food is GREAT! The prices are Great! You get two authentic, packed tacos for $2.50! You spend that on one horrible taco from Taco Bell and who knows what's in that meat! It's a BYOB too so just run across the street to Johnnies liquor store and grab your favorite cervesa! The parking lot AGAVE is located in is not impressive so it's easy to overlook but once you have their food, you will be hooked!! It's never busy either, which I am very surprised. I ordered cheese fries...not only was there no cheese AT ALL, but they were super dry. I could have ordered McDonald's and got fries that were actually edible for less money. The other food I got was OK at best, but still I was expecting more for Mexican food from a supposed Mexican restaurant. Then you try to call at 7 on a Saturday night they are already closed?
