BELMAR: Jacks By The Tracks is a great spot in downtown Belmar and leashed dogs are allowed at their outdoor patio. The patio is covered on top and can be covered on the sides to stay open during chillier weather. There is a lot of seating and TV’s to watch the game. We love that the garage doors open up, so you feel like you are part of the main restaurant. This is great for listening to live music, which is featured almost every night. We enjoyed a couple of drinks at this neighborhood restaurant and they had at least 6 local breweries on tap and a bunch more selections in bottles and cans. There is also wine, cocktails, and a full bar. An American food menu features salads, sandwiches, burgers, seafood, steaks, and more. Next time we visit, we are trying their soft pretzel. Happy Hour is Monday-Friday 11:30am-4:00pm. $3 domestic drafts, $5 house wines, $5 well drinks, and buy 1 get 1 half off appetizers. The staff is very friendly and shout out to our server, Gianna, for...
Read morejacks by the tracks, located in the center of town in Belmar. from the outside look like an attractive destination with a nicely renovated bar area and cozy outdoor seating. we were there on a Sunday afternoon on a busy June day. The good and bads of the Place. it took an extraordinary long time to get our food there was only a few tables seated don’t know why it took 45 minutes for a hamburger, cheese steak, roast beef sandwich and mac & cheese. The roast beef sandwich was very generously stacked which was the only positive. The mac & cheese on the kids meal tasted sour. and for $10 it didn’t even include fries on the kids meal? Everything else the cheesesteak in the burger were on par. maybe it was an off day but the food was average the waitress was new but very catering and understanding and replace the mac & cheese with a different item on the menu. Overall took too long for average food but as for ambience and...
Read moreMy Smokey Grey Band just played here on Saturday night but I had eaten at Jacks with friends, wives and band mates a half dozen times previously. My personal favorites are the “Dr Pepper Boneless BBQ Wings,” the chicken cutlet cubano sandwich, “Jack’s Flatbread,” and pierogies smothered in bacon and onions with sour cream on the side. ALL, are delicious!
Jacks is a great place! Charlene and her staff present a very friendly, accommodating experience for clients and customers alike. The staff is diligent, hard working and eager to please. Our server, Caitlin, was wonderful to us that night. My friends and band mates will never forget that part of what was a spectacular evening!
Whether we’re back to play or to watch another band perform, or just to grab a meal, my wife and I will most certainly be customers going forward. Great place! Thanks to everyone involved for a special night of...
