I just went on Saturday 2/4/2023 with 9 other friends. We had a lunch reservation for the back room. The place is really nice, so we had high hopes. Before I continue, the food was good. The room had no heat so we had to eat with our coats on. We were really cold the entire time. My onion soup (I had asked that it come out with all the lunches as it was my lunch) came out before the two appetizers we ordered. I did not say anything as that was not a big deal, just disappointing. The 7 salad and sandwich lunches were served minus the two people that ordered personal pizzas. Everyone was finished with their lunch when the first pizza was served. About 5 or so minutes later the last person finally got their pizza. We mentioned to our server that we were done with lunch, this was unacceptable. She never apologized, just said she did not time the orders right. The owner also mentioned that her husband was at Home Depot getting space heaters. Needless to say it was an awful dining experience (except for spending time with friends) and I will not go back. Between the owner and the server both knowing the heat was not working, the awful service, an apology would have been the least they...

Tried out the new restaurant in Belmar F St. Social. First impressions was it is a great atmosphere. After 20 mins of being there the place was packed. Nearly all tables taken and majority of seats at the bar. A lively place! Our experience was good. Server was pleasant and informative due to my wife's gluten intolerance. The busy atmosphere directly impacted the service. We were there 1 hour and just finished our appetizers. This is to say it was slow but we did not think it was our servers issue. Also we were not bothered by it. The food was OK. I got the clams as appetizer and it was very good. The garlic toast with it was excellent. My wife got the gluten-free couliflower and it was excellent. I wanted to keep things simple for dinner so I got the pastrami sandwich. It was good. It could have more pastrami in the sandwich. It tasted good. My bread on bottom side was burnt (not toasted) which is why I did not eat much of the bread. I did not like the fries as some were soaked with oil. Other fries were ok. My wife got the gluten-free pasta Vodka sauce and it was good. Minor hiccups on service (delays) and some food was not to my liking....

We love going here and sitting outside; it’s gotten too hot inside in the past, so we just try to only go on nice days. Some of the food is fantastic (generally the pizza and seafood) and some is ehh (certain sandwiches and apps). The service is usually very good, even when they are busy they are very attentive and nice. We recently got pizza takeout and drove the 25 minutes there because they have the best gluten free crust I’ve ever had. My fiancé got some personal pies that came out great, however my gluten free pizza which I asked for with light sauce came with light cheese and by that I mean it looked like a spider web of cheese over bread with sauce. I took a bite but can’t stomach straight up bread with sauce. I don’t know who would have ever ordered a pizza like that, but the fact that I clarified twice that I wanted light sauce on the phone and that was taken as light cheese is concerning in and of itself. I guess it’s partially my fault for not checking the pizza but when you have to drive 25 minutes home with a hot pie you don’t want to let the heat out of the box. Lesson learned. Saving time, disappointment, and money and only eating-in...

First time visiting here. Nice remodeled spot the main thoroughfare in Belmar. They do not have a bar, so it is BYOB. (Though they have a wine flyer). Ordered the hot honey chicken sandwich. Excellently made and very tasty. The salad for an appetizer was great and above the typical house salad fare offered at many other establishments. Food did take little while to come, so make sure you do bring a little social lubricant to keep the chatter going! The staff is a bit disorganized. Our waiter could not explain contents of certain sauces. Not checking the tables as often for drink refills as i normally expect. Great place and good food. Still recommend a visit.
