My 6yo son wanted some smoother rolling wheels for his Real skateboard. After initially looking online for parts I instead searched for a local shop so he could get the in-person experience I enjoyed at Grog's, Wavejammer, and Cosmic when I was younger. Pro Skateboard Shop popped up and was local.
We stopped in on a Saturday with the board and I let my son do the talking, explaining what he had and what he wanted to William behind the counter. The two of them discussed options while I checked out the shop's inventory with my other son (3yo). When William and my 6yo decided on a direction and parts, I paid and the two of them worked together to install everything.
The patience and enthusiasm made such an impact that my 6yo still talks about how much fun he had and how nice William was. My son walked out of the shop more knowledgeable about skateboards, trucks, wheels, bearings, and assembly and is just thrilled with his setup.
I'm looking forward to my 3yo being old enough to experience the excitement of picking out a board and the joy of that first ride. It will be at this shop.

Read moreI stumbled upon this place after looking for an above average skateboard. The young employee working there was very informative and provided guidance and suggestions based on my needs, budget, and my primary concern of durability. I wish I got this guy's name because he was such an awesome person to talk to and he was really patient in answering all of my questions.
If you're new to the skateboard scene or if you want some dope merch/products, stop on by.
Update 12/29:
Came here with a board and grip tape and I was happy to see how busy they were. There were kids patiently waiting for their boards so it was nice to see.
Brought my kids here and I went in hoping the young man can help me out. He literally broke down why he chose the specific hardware and why it would be good for my kids based on their wants and needs. He was super patient even when there were so many people waiting.
This place is a true neighborhood gem that I will...
Read moreI only have Google experience with skateboarding, so when I went with my friend Miranda (we’re also in our upper 20s, so out of our wheelhouse here) not only was the guy working super chill and helpful, but another customer was also helpful! Not pushy at all, trying to make the bigger sale. Relaxed and took the time to be informative, and not uppity.
To the guy working Sunday 11/29 that looks like David Dobrik, you were sweet and I wiped out about an hour later but I’m hyped about the board....
