Bojangles — Restaurant in Belmont

This place is a joke! The service is the absolute worst I have ever had.. and I did reach out to the corp office and NO ONE ever responded. Do yourself a favor... Stay away! I got a 12 piece meal and I had to wait inside the store for 27 min. I will NOT go back here. and I live right around the corner. - this place doesn't deserve 1 star. (I mean look at the other reviews.) Store is dirty - Service is Terrible - Follow - Up * I received a response: asking me to put this information on a link. (I already emailed corporate. Are you serious??? No, I did that; I even sent you pictures of the filth that was on the front counter where lids were off of the food; dried out dirty rice... just disgusting. I told you how you had two workers on break at the same time watching me and other customers wait in line... just sitting in the dining room... talking about us waiting. how the gentleman in front; when I asked where the person was to take our order, stating that they were cleaning the bathroom. (SERIOUSLY???) how the person came out of the bathroom; with a bottle of cleaner in her hand and just started taking our orders after us waiting about 3 or 4 minutes. I told you how I didn't see her wash her hands after she came out.. How she prepared our food in the box with the same hands not washing them... although she didn't see touch the food directly, it is not a good look.. This is an absolute joke. I think corporate knows how badly this location is doing and it is a shame. You have a potential for allot of great business with Berewick there, but you have a very poorly staffed restaurant. You have SOOO many complaints it is sad. I have been in there more than once. I know I have to go in because the drive through is PAINFULLY slow.. but your employees are SOOOO Unfriendly!!! 8:00pm 9/10/2017

We usually go to this Bojangles around 7-9pm, and the majority of the time, it is a terrible experience. Tonight in particular, all we wanted was some fries, sweet tea, and a cheddar bo. From past experience, I know Cheddar Bos can take a long time to wait, and I didn't want to hold up the drive-thru waiting 5 minutes, so I asked if they had any Cheddar Bos ready. After no response for a few seconds, she says yes. So I order it. We pull up to the window, she gives us our fries and drink.

She says we are waiting on the cheddar bo... Ok, cool, at least it's fresh. Sorry everyone behind us. Then we get into the fries. No seasoning on the fries. Cool, we can ask for some more since we are waiting anyway. We also realized we didn't have a straw, so we asked if she could give us a straw and sprinkle some seasoning into the bag , she said, "sure, no problem". It looks like she puts new fries and the straw in the bag, but she keeps it in the window.

No problem, we should get it soon anyways. Then we get the fesh cheddar bo, what looks like more fries, and the straw. We say thanks, she doesn't say anything, and we go. Look down, barely any seasoning on the fries STILL, and the worst part...

The tea wasn't sweet. It was just normal tea. We put it together, and we think she was too lazy to make more sweet tea, even though they didn't close for another 2 hours. So she didn't give us a straw, so that we couldn't taste the tea. And when we asked for a straw, she didn't give us the bag until the cheddar bo was ready, and we could drive off. We are making our own syrup to add to the tea right now. The drive-thru cashier also was pretty unresponsive, but I'll just chock that up to working on a Sunday night in the fast food business. Pretty rough experience.

I come here in the mornings, so I can’t speak on any other time, but they are great in the mornings. My truck is too big for the drive thru, but in this case, I’m glad. VERY nice people, always pleasant and if and when they mess up an order, there’s never any pushback. They fix it and thank you for coming. In 2024!? Great staff!! Especially the very sweet lady that takes the orders.

Let me say it’s amazing how far this place fell in such a short period of time. Imagine a place that serves breakfast, but not to people that drive oversized vehicles… like trucks… the very people who are up and can’t or shouldn’t be eating while driving…

How can a place get worse than 1 star!?

It’s not the food, it’s the people. The person up front was acting like she hated every soul within those walls, including me. But that wasn’t even the problem, I placed my order and watched the sad person move as slow as possible, long story short, I placed my order at 1:44pm and didn’t get it until 2:04pm and there was only one person in front of me also waiting for food. But it gets even worse… I approached the “totally checked out of here manager” about my long wait, she took my receipt, then the “sad one” says here’s his food, the “manager” just give me my receipt back and walks away.
