My friend and I have gone to the Indian land and fort mill location several times, so we were excited to see that a new location was opened near the Charlotte Premium Outlets. I have to say - this is not what I expected My friend got there 10 minutes before me and ordered queso and water to start. I arrived, and no one visited our table for 15 minutes. I asked that our server drop by, and no one knew who our server was, apparently she hadn't been assigned or informed she was sat. We ordered jumbo margaritas and our food as soon as she came by since we were looking for a quick lunch.. After the drinks arrived and looked different than Indian land, and another waitress explained that jumbo in Charlotte actually means medium, and large (not on the menu) is the real jumbo, and there is pitcher above that size. We ordered a jumbo, based on the servers suggestion. Again, there is no listing on the drink menu for a bowl, large, or medium marg. Its small, jumbo, pitcher. Our 2 meals were brought to us in 3 stages, and the fajitas were chilled by the time the rice, beans, and salad were to the table. Ok, we were in a rush so we ate and asked for the check Apparently, the jumbo is actually called a bowl, and costs $23.99. Again, not on the menu and ordered at the waitresses suggestion. I asked the waitress about it, (a third person at this point) and she said the difference was because it was NC instead of SC. I asked of they had an updated drink menu, and she walked away, came back, and verbally told us all the prices. My friend then went to the restroom, and after using it, discovered there was no toilet paper in either stall. She used a paper towel after wandering around the bathroom half naked trying to find toilet paper. The waitress (the second Lady out of the three) returned to take the checks and we told her there was no toilet paper. We had to turn away 1 female child and 2 adult women who were tying to use the restroom. No one brought toilet paper to the bathroom in the next 15 minutes. We finished up the bowl, and realized there was something red on the glass. At first we thought it was cherry juice from the marichino cherries in the margarita, but it was on the inside of the glass. After we looked at it, we realized it was strawberry mix, either from a daiquiri or margarita. We both had traditional lime, so obviously the glass wasn't thoroughly washed. We do have pictures. We then asked the front desk gentleman if this was a corporate restaurant, and he said yes. We asked for the phone number of the owner or corporation, and he appeared to either not understand or not know. All together, this is disgusting. My friend is high risk, and drinking out of a dirty glass is unacceptable anytime, but especially during covid-19. I can't believe this location is so different than your other two.

**Google Margaritas Mexican Restaurant offers a clean and bright atmosphere, perfect for a casual evening out. We dined in around 9 PM, about an hour before closing, and were greeted promptly by the staff. The spacious table provided a comfortable dining experience. Our server attended to us immediately, taking our drink orders right away. I ordered a margarita, which arrived in a reasonable time. Unfortunately, the margarita was just okay; it lacked the expected kick of alcohol. For my entrée, I chose the Pineapple Loca Fajitas, featuring steak, shrimp, and chicken. The presentation was appealing, but the flavor fell short—it seemed like something was missing. While it was an acceptable meal, it did not quite meet the expectations set by the restaurant's vibrant atmosphere. The highlight of the visit was the excellent customer service. The staff were attentive and friendly, making us feel welcome throughout our time there. Overall, while the service was top-notch, both the food and drinks left room for improvement. Margaritas Mexican Restaurant has potential, but they need to enhance the flavors of their dishes and drinks to provide a more satisfying dining experience. Would I return? Possibly, for the friendly service and to give another dish a try. But, I hope to see some improvements in the food and drink quality next time.

Dined in for my husbands birthday. Saw the signs all over the restaurant stating that no refunds or exchanges are accepted. Never have I been to a restaurant where this is the case. I can even understand if there are flagrant returns of food after mostly eaten. However, I ordered the shrimp tacos and took 2 bites and the shrimp tasted spoiled. I asked to switch to flautas instead and the manager came over to tell me he went to the kitchen to taste the shrimp himself and that there is nothing wrong with them. I asked him if he expected me to eat something that I believe would make me sick due to the taste and he persisted that they were fine. He then pointed to the sign and said their policy is "no returns or exchanges" He tried to say something about covid and prices which i understand. But, you can't make me pay for spoiled food. Especially seafood! He did take the meal off my bill. However, I will not be returning to this establishment and it is unfortunate with the few options we have of restaurants in steele creek that they are wasting a space with ridiculous policies and pre made food and drinks. I will note that our waitress, Ingra was awesome.

Do not and I can’t stress this enough but DO NOT COME TO THIS RESTAURANT!! this is the first post I have ever made on a restaurant but this had to be made known. My mother in law asked our server before ordering if the dish she wanted had peppers because she is allergic to them. The waitress clearly said no there is no peppers in the dish but of course she was wrong. The plate was full of peppers. We then asked if we could change the dish to something that didn’t have peppers in it. The dish that the waitress stated had no peppers in them though were plain grilled chicken tacos. However since she just wanted grilled chicken tacos they were going to up charge her 2.99 PER taco. We then asked to speak to the manager who could have cared less and just said that yes there is an up charge for those tacos. Even though it was the waitress who messed up on the initial order. We told him that we shouldn’t have to pay an additional charge when the waitress made this kind of mistake. He then preceded to tell us that the waitress told him that she did notify us about the peppers but we ordered them anyway. So the waitress lied to cover herself from being wrong. After going back and forth with him he finally agreed to not charge us extra for the tacos. Needless to say at the end of the meal we didn’t feel that the waitress deserved the normal tip that we would have given since she lied to her manager to cover herself and also did not say that the dish had peppers knowing that the person is allergic. At the end of the meal we were all outside talking and the waitress had the audacity to come outside and hand us back the dollar that my mother in law left. She then said “you can keep your money I don’t want it”. We were all shocked at the lack of professionalism and how rude she was. My fiancé is a waitress and she would never do this as it is extremely rude. This is not the first time we have had an issue with food/beverages at this restaurant. As there have been a couple of times where we have come in with several friends and when we all ordered margaritas they all tasted like chemicals. Even te waiter at the time agreed. But the management gave us a hard time for sending them back.

DO NOT COME HERE THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS...

Who ever says this place is good value has never had Mexican food in the past.

I will say the food is good and they make it fast. Ordering appetizers is a waste of time since the food come out so fast.

The wait staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. The problem with this place is the management itself.

All around the restaurant there are signs of if you order you pay. I didn’t think nothing of it but it did work in the back of my head. I asked one of the waitresses and she explained about people walking out etc. the part that works me the most is the fact that you truly feel nickeled and dined the entire time you are there. If you need ketchup there’s a few for that, if you need salsa there’s a few for that. Normally I don’t mind because I pay for what I order.

Here’s where it all falls apart for me. My bill came out with a family of 5 to $137. Again, not a problem there. But AFTER I pay I see that the amount changed to $141.70. When I look at the receipt they have a non cash policy. So if you pay cash they don’t bill it but if you pay with a card then you pay this fee for having used a card.

Normally I’m ok with this charge when I have to pay at a place and the cashier will tell me there’s a fee for paying with a card and I’m ok with that. If I have the cash I will pay with that or just won’t buy if I think the fee is ridiculously high. Normally a dollar or two is normal. Yet in those cases I’m choosing what I’m going to pay. I have no problem there. What I have an issue is when, not only is the food very very expensive for Mexican food, but then to be charged almost $5 extra in the way out for something I was never notified is where I draw the line. The $5 are irrelevant. The issue is feeling that they are trying to see how much they can take from you. Any Mexican restaurant will be less than half what I pay.

I will never come back to this place. I would recommend you go to the other million Mexican restaurants there are in Charlotte that serve the same food for much less. I really do hope it’s just the management of this restaurant and not the...
