Our Go-To every Friday night. We are a family of 5. I love that there is always the mix and match $5.99 deal. It makes it affordable for everyone to get their own individual choice for dinner. One kid wants a pizza, one wants pasta in a bread bowl and the rest of us want pizza. We always get an appetizer and we never forget to order dessert! We don't have to compromise when we eat Domino's with their $5.99 mix and match deal.
I love Domino's hand tossed crust and the seasoning blend they put on it better than any pizza crust anywhere. My local store (Beloit, WI) is great. I never wait more than 45 minutes for my delivery to arrive and I'm quite far. Everything is always fresh and hot when it arrives and the familiar delivery drivers are quite friendly. I think I've only had one experience where something had been forgotten but this was rectified immediately and was no big deal at all. The online platform remembers me and remembers my message in the comment section to the delivery driver, but they all know by now that when they come to my house, they have to "Knock loudly, kids inside & I can't hear the door". Haha! I did sign up for the text alert though, so I always know when they're about to pull up anyway! That's another great feature- Text alerts when they leave the building and another when they're pulling into our neighborhood!
I like that the recipes are consistent throughout the country. No matter where I am, I know what I'm getting from Domino's when I order. Sometimes having something familiar when you are somewhere unfamiliar can bring quite a bit of comfort. Thanks for staying consistent in your recipes across the nation.
Ok, let's be honest. Domino's probably doesn't have the world's best pizza (Hello Chicago and New York!) but it's pretty darn good. Honestly though, what keeps drawing me back the most, is the online ordering platform. Some places don't offer online ordering like the smaller family owned places... As I said above, I have kids in this house. It's impossible to make a phone call to order a pizza with my kids in the background sounding like they're starting a garage band! The other national chains do have their own online ordering system, but not all of them have platforms that are easy or quick to use, especially from a smartphone. Domino's even remembers my frequent orders so I can order in literal seconds! I hope Domino's doesn't try to fix what is not broken by updating or changing their platform because it's perfect the way it is! Hint, hint!
I just placed my weekly Friday night order and saw a spot on the confirmation email asking me to rate Domino's and I'm in such a good mood from not having to cook dinner tonight that I thought I might just sit down and drop a line or two, to show my appreciation. Beloit Domino's, thanks for consistently making our Friday night dinner a good one. Time to...
Read moreWhat in the world happened to this location in the last couple of months??? Typically I love my Domino's, but the last order I received was horrible and I was very, very disappointed. My "free" rewards hand-tossed pizza was smashed at the bottom of two pan pizzas and two other boxes of sides when delivered, and the pizzas were so horribly made (sparse of toppings would be an understatement.) The Parmesan Bites were drenched in grease/oil/butter mixture to the point of being sickening to even try to eat and most of the Parmesan was in the bottom of the box swimming in the grease anyway. . I left a review on their website, but never one to give up on an establishment until I've had two bouts of bad service, I just ordered again. We'll see if this one is as good as it used to be Am hopeful. This will be my last order from them if it comes the same as last time. :(
Update: Well, I won't be back. Received my pizza and the sauce was cold, but cheese was hot (how does that happen??), the spinach was put on the crust below the sauce (what??) and forget the double meat and double spinach I ordered. Some pieces didn't even have chicken on them. Unfortunately, for being a loyal customer, I am afraid you have disappointed me one too many times. I will not be ordering again. I ordered double spinach, double chicken.. and I received as sparse of both toppings as I did when I ordered just single topping last time. Double? What a joke! Am entirely ticked off and feel as if I have been ripped off. Never again. Goodbye to the Beloit Domino's; you've lost this loyal customer. Oh, and Domino's told me to call the store if there was a problem. I know it's NYE, but yeah, I've been on hold over 30 minutes and someone just answered and hung up on me. For real???? Yes, definitely won't be back.
Called back, and Kayla, the supposed manager, got on the phone to take my complaint. After her arguing with me and telling me she didn't know why my pizza was like how I received it, her next reply was, "So how can I help you?" I don't know Kayla, I am not the manager but YOU supposedly are. She could care less about my disappointment and how upset I was. I can now see what the problem is at this establishment and why it has gone downhill. What a waste of time,...
Read moreordered a pizza, didnt receive 3 of the 5 toppings I had paid for. I called and complained and the manager said he would make a new pizza and send it out. 45 minutes later a new pizza arrives. I wouldnt even call this abomination a pizza. It was burned to a crisp, the toppings were thrown on without care and the slices were thrown around inside the box as if they were delivered by FedEx. Another separate incident I had ordered a pizza with triple pepperoni. I only received a regular amount of pepperoni, I of course called to complain and they made a new pizza. LO AND BEHOLD! Burnt to a crisp, pepperoni on one side of the pizza, and slices thrown around everywhere. I cannot believe the manager allows his pizza maker to get away with this kind of bullshit. I will order one more time, and if this happens again it will be a...
