Taqueria Mexicano Grill #13 — Restaurant in Belton

UPDATE: I went with my bestie for breakfast Friday morning. It wasn’t our first choice, but I’m so glad the other place didn’t work out! The last time I was here, I only had the pancakes, and they were absolutely delicious. This time, I had an internal conflict because I wanted the pancakes again but I also wanted to try something different. I went with different. My bestie ordered the pork chop plate and the fresh guacamole, I ordered two tacos carbón and a side of scrambled eggs with cheese. My bestie said she enjoyed her meal so much, and I did get to try her fresh guacamole with chips. It was so delicious and very well seasoned. The meat in my tacos carbón were seasoned well and very tender. My eggs were fresh and brought out hot. I loved my tacos so much that I ordered some to go so that my family could try them. That’s how much I liked them. We definitely will be coming back here again and again and again. Would I crave the food here? Absolutely 100 percent yes!! They have an extensive menu, try it out, I’m sure you’ll find something that will easily become your favorite. Ambience was lively and welcoming too.

I had the breakfast here today. Excellent melt in your mouth delicious tasting pancakes. Honestly the best I’ve had. I’m definitely going back here for pancakes. It was that good. Nothing fancy, just really delicious pancakes. I wish I took a photo....

I have never been to this place before. It seemed nice from the outside . . . Except once we went in to eat . . . We did not get greeted or even if we were to late we would of been ok with being told and finding another place to eat. We were eventually seated then we ordered after waiting some time. Never were offered refills for even the water my sister had. My niece was coughing so much I ended up giving her my drink while we waited so long for someone to come back to our table to check on us. Instead my nephew had to get up 2 to 3 times to ask for a server to come to our table and to get a couple to go containers. Oh I forgot to mention that when we did get a refill they ran out of the drink my niece had and still charged us for a new drink because they ran out . . . Why should I be penalized when you can offer what we ordered?? They didn't seem to understand that . . . They also didn't seem to understand that a child that was running around should not be running into the kitchen or that the manager in duty should not be telling the servers to rush their tables out by turning on the bright lights. I just don't think they as a whole don't know what...

I’ve been going here a few years.

Last time I went, the waiter never came back after taking the order so when things were missing, I literally had to get up and ask somebody. I had walked over to a man who was standing there (turns out it was the manager) and I said our waiter never came back is there anyway you can help us? He said yes and acted like he was walking over, but he just never came over.

Well, I tried it again and this time I ordered a tostada and it wasn’t made incorrectly. I even had the meat removed and when they made it, it looked like they removed a lot of the other stuff that I paid for. I asked the waitress nicely about it and she was super nice, but then the manager did end up coming over and YELLING at me.

I have no problem with a waiter who’s having a bad day or maybe too busy - I would never let that stop me from coming to a restaurant but if there’s a MANAGER who’s mean to customers then that will stop me. there is never a reason to be rude to customers who were not rude to you and actually came there to pay for meal.

This restaurant lost a loyal customer, and I feel bad for future customers at this...
