Who doesn't love DQ? People are going through withdrawal since the the DQ in the mall closed. NO DQ FOR BEMIDJIANS IN THE WINTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sooooooo happy when this outside DQ opened for the season. This place is totally hopping! Folks out standing in line with snow on the ground and windchill in the 20s! They no longer offer chili dogs or chips, and they don't have fountain soda, only cans. They were out of a lot of ingredients to make stuff. There was one girl taking orders and one girl making things, so I expected the wait to be long. They just didn't seem... happy to see us. Read moreNow that the lake side is the only DQ left it makes me a bit sad I'll have to go for a drive in the winter months if I want any DQ but the fact that it is on the lake means you get a great view of the lake to go along with your ice-cream. The staff are great and so nice. Its also near Mc Donalds so if you get a burger or something else there but want ice-cream you won't have to rely on there ice-cream machine working because you can just go get a blizzard...
