I don’t normally write reviews, but my experience at the Benbrook McDonalds today was one of the worst fast food experiences I have had in a long time.
Earlier today (around 4pm) I had ordered food for my husband, daughter, and I on the app for it to be brought to our table. (the table service option.) They ended up calling me up there to get it.. which was fine on it’s own, I guess. I only chose it because it was optional. But I just found it weird that they had offered that and didn’t do it. They were also being really impatient and I had barely any time to get up before the guy was acting like it had sat there for too long. (Literally 5 seconds.)
That’s not really the issue though. Just a small annoyance. Once I had grabbed our food, I had realized that we were missing a lot of it including our drinks but I didn’t want to say that as soon as I had picked it up because my hands were full and my husband had just ran to the restroom. On top of that daughter was sitting alone at the table crying (she’s 2). So I had ended up just going back to the table to put the food down and be with her. He ended up coming back less than a minute later and I had asked him to go see if he could get the rest of our meal and our drinks.
Every time he tried to speak to them, even just to ask for our drink cups so we could at least have those while we ate, he would just be ignored. The guy he tried talking to would just walk away every time he started to open his mouth. FINALLY after like 30 to 40 minutes of trying to get somebody’s attention the man tossed a few cookies in our bag and said they didn’t have what we ordered. Which whatever, that’s fine, just please let us know instead of ignoring us and let us have our drinks with our food!! They hadn’t even given us the milk that went with the kids meal and then when I went to get my daughter a straw after finally getting what we could THEY DIDN’T HAVE ANY. So not only was my order missing stuff- The food was cold and they didn’t even have utensils put out needed for a fast food restraunt in the first place. And trust me.. I know places like McDonald's are busy. I’ve worked in fast food myself.
Even recently, but this was just pure disregard or care for their customers. I don’t think we will be returning unless all we order is a small fry because that seems to be the only thing...

Their customer service and time management skills are absolutely horrible—even the manager, Gabriel, was terrible when it came to customer care! My family and I went through the drive-thru just to order three cookies. We paid at 9:42 PM. The cashier asked us to park in Reserved Spot #2, which we did without any issue. We waited... and waited... not knowing how long cookies take to bake. Eventually, we realized it had been way too long. So, we drove back around and spoke with the same cashier who took our payment. She was surprised and said, “Oh, they haven’t brought your cookies out?” We told her no, they hadn't. By now, it was 10:10 PM—we had been waiting nearly 30 minutes. We asked for our cookies and also requested a refund, given how long we had been waiting. Multiple employees saw us parked the entire time and no one bothered to check in or offer any help. The cashier told us to hold on. We waited another 5–10 minutes for a response. Then the manager, Gabriel, came out and handed us the cookies with a smile, saying, “Here you go, fresh-baked cookies.” We asked again about a refund or some sort of acknowledgment for the terrible service. He responded, “Sorry, cookies back or no refund.” We were dumbfounded. My spouse then asked how long it actually takes to bake the cookies, and the manager said 3–4 minutes. That made the whole situation even more frustrating—we had waited around 30 minutes for cookies that take 3–4 minutes to bake, and the manager showed zero concern for the poor service. Instead, we got a fake smile and some “freshly baked” cookies only after we had to loop back through the drive-thru. We had waited 20+ minutes in the reserved spot and were completely forgotten about. Absolutely...
Read moreI normally wouldn't even take the time to write one of these because I couldn't care less about a mistake or two. But, this place and its staff are the definition of incompetence. Like I said, it wouldn't be a problem if it was an every now and again thing, but it's EVERY SINGLE TIME. Either my order is wrong, I didn't get part of it, or it never comes out. (I've been told to pull around to the front and someone will bring me my food, only for me to have to walk in 20 minutes later and someone immediately hand it to me because it was sitting right there the entire time. Id then ask if there was any reason I had to come in and get it, only to be answered with "No", and that's it). I got into the habit of checking my food before I leave because the one time I didn't, and it was, of course, wrong. (And ever since then, I've save myself countless trips of having to come back to correct their mistakes) They did nothing to try and compensate me for having to waste my time and gas to come back up there and get what I ordered. Ill often get whatever I order without onions. It is RARE if there's not onions on at least one of the two burgers I usually get, sometimes its both. (I don't have an allergy but I'm sure that would be extremely dangerous for someone who does). I've only given this place so many chances because it's the only location near my home.
