Husband went by around 6:45 tonight, Oct 19th, to pick up a chicken sandwich for me that I have been craving, then come home and watch the Rangers. He ordered 3 pieces of chicken for himself, which was incidental. The wait was over 20 minutes in the drive thru, but as you know, once you are in line, you cannot physically get out of line. That kind of construction is illegal in some cities, and should be everywhere, but I digress. He was asked to pull out of line, and it would be 4 minutes. Ten minutes later, he walked in and told them he was still Waiting and missing the game. They asked what he had ordered and he told them. Apologies were made, they said there was much disorganization tonight. There was plenty of chicken cooked, but I guess they did not have time to package it, even tho one of the guys pointed to the order on the computer. The lady that appeared to be in charge apologized again and said they would upgrade his chicken meal to 8 pieces. Ok, but we were there for the sandwich, right? They gave him a drink and he went back to his truck to wait. A guy walked in, ordered, and walked out with his order, which would indicate that our order has just been dropped somehow. Sure enough, the lady came out and asked again what was ordered. He repeated our order and after another wait, she brought out extra chicken and fries. Was very apologetic as everyone had been. Got home. You know what’s coming….,, no sandwich. After spending almost an hour there. At one time, he asked for a refund, but they were hesitant to do that, saying his order would be out very soon. It wasn’t. I know it is not easy right now, but when I called 3 times to tell Them we still Didn’t get what we ordered, they have not answered the phone. I’ll be going by tomorrow and insist on a refund. Three stars in the taste of the food because the last few times the beans and rice have been rice and bean juice. A few beans tonight but they have a strange taste, kinda like a cleaner or an insecticide has been added. I don’t for one second believe that’s the case, I’m just saying that’s the taste.
Editing to add: Nov 2nd now, and the hubby gives them another chance. I don’t know why. He went tonight and ordered classic chicken with the side being beans and rice, as he knows they used to be my favorite. On arriving home he discovers that not only is the chicken spicy, but there is no beans and rice. Honestly, I hope their corporate office comes out and checks on them. Read moreIf I could give this place a 0 I would. There was this older female and she's like in her 40s maybe and is African American with a VERY thick accent, who is supposedly the "manager". I'm not sure if she was an actual manager or not, but regardless she still shouldn't be working here with customers. I pulled up in Drive Thru and I was ordering, and then after my whole order she tells me she can't give me any of it and can only give me a tender or chicken sandwich. I assumed they were about to close and thought that I could understand, but then realized they didn't close at 8, and that they closed at 11. They still had 3 hours being opened so I asked if I can speak to a manager and the lady replied with NO then told me pull forward proceeding to tell me she does NOT speak English. I pulled to the window and it was the same lady who started treating me meanly telling me she guesses she'll cook my food for me, but it'll take about 15 minutes. I asked for another person because as I kept ordering she'd shut the window in the middle of me talking and then flipped me off because I ended up getting another employee to take my order. He was also VERY disrespectful with the same attitude as this lady. She made me pull forward for the "15" minute wait that was actually a 40. After trying to go inside to see what is going on she ran and locked the doors. Read moreI stopped in this location on my way home from work because we do not have one in Granbury. I ordered the bigger family meal. And added a couple of more sides and strawberry biscuits. They told me they were out of Mac and cheese and I was ok with that. They replaced with another mashed potatoes. All good. They were very unprofessional in the kitchen and they kept looking at me at times to see if I was watching them I guess. So, they give me my food and I trust that everything was right. Nope. I didn't get my fries. I didn't get the strawberry biscuits. I believe that they were pretty much out of a lot of thier sides and they didn't want to make any for me. I did find some small cheesecake things that I didn't want like that was going to make up for their bad service and laziness. I felt kind of taken advantage of since I spent over $70.00 there that evening. Which it wasn't even 7 o'clock yet. I didn't understand. They didn't tell me I was not going to get my fries or biscuits that I paid for. They just watched me walk out like a fool. I should have looked before I left, yes.
