Subway — Restaurant in Benbrook

I worked here for 3 weeks and it was the WORST job and the most incompetent manager I've ever had in my life. I was left alone to run the store on my 3rd shift at work, 1 of those shifts being 2 hours. This is a regular practice to have only 1 person run the entire restaurant. What if someone slipped and fell in the back? Leave 1 person alone with hundreds of dollars in the cash register? The last straw was when my manager told me to refill the line of food and sauces with the dirty dishes from the sink without washing them, that it would take too long to wash them, that we needed to get food out to make sales. We would almost always be out of something, so she would go to Walmart and buy things like ranch, butter & garlic powder, oregano, turkey, cheese, avocado, and how to get around the health inspector's technicality to put it a box labeled "employee box". Our cutting prep table was regularly sat on, ate on, used as a desk. And I have the pictures to prove these things... And I'll swear under the penalty of perjury that I'm telling the truth. On top of that my manager would give herself 45-55 hours a week on manager pay plus OT, and give others 15-18 hours a week at $7.50hr. She was constantly rude to customers, like telling them "come on keep going" while they were choosing vegetables. We weren't allowed to give ANY kind of refunds for ANY reason, including if we ran out of a soda flavor, when all they bought was a diet coke. The first day I worked there she asked me for a ride home, and on the way to her hotel apartment, asked me if I "knew where to get any good weed?" that should have been my first clue this would be a horrible place to work at! I wouldn't let my dogs eat here, it's that bad. How this place stays open astonishes me. Without new ownership and/or new management, I give this place 6 months tops before...

Update 09/10/2023 1:50 pm This young lady saw me, walked off her job came up to me and whispered “ you are sick, delusional and need to watch your back”. Now that behavior is preposterous. Subway will still make money regardless so please inform your employees that it’s not ok to threaten or say mean things to anyone for writing a review. Thank you

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! I don’t know where to begin from the workers going to the bathroom with the apron on. From the pants constantly dropping below he butt and she making the sandwiches and pulling up the pants. From the bucket that cleans the table is nastier than the table. Don’t let me start with the customer service if the was a negative star I would put it. The absolute worst. The customers come and have to wait on service because the workers are either outside sitting or walking around. These ppl are jokers. The way these customers are treated Is unacceptable and disgusting. They act as if the customers are bothering them when they ring the bell. They ALWAYS have an attitude. The only person that I’ve observed that seem ok is the lady with the light purple hair. Me personally would NEVER eat here. This place need a fresh team. I had a tuna sub. This lady was needing help with a sandwich and had to come to the back knocked on the door to get the workers attention. Tst tst . The pay matches the service. You’ll need...

I had notice a real change lately at this location, mainly due to a new employee who had been going above and beyond for his customers. He's been there everytime I come up there, giving service with a smile, and making sure there was a clean lobby to eat in, his name was Reggie. But he was not here today. Today I was served by a woman, I believe her name was Donna, and I had to wait 15 minutes before I could give her my order because there was no one up front. When she finally came from the back she hurried me through my order, as well as threw all the ingredients on my sandwich together so poorly. It was a mess. She was rude to me for our entire interaction. Someone needs to teach that girl proper customer service. I ultimately ended up throwing the sandwich away, it was just inedible. Also I normally eat my food there, but the lobby was disgusting! Overall if Reggie is not there, I wouldn't eat at this location. So as long as I don't see him there, I won't be returning to...
