Good Egg NWX — Restaurant in Bend

I recently checked out the new Good Egg in Bend, and wow, it was awesome! From the second we walked in, we felt super welcomed. The place is cozy and modern, just perfect for a nice meal. The staff was really friendly and made sure everything was great.

JJ, who served us, was FANTASTIC. SUPER FRIENDLY and HARD WORKING, making our experience even better. They truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time.

The menu is packed with delicious options. I tried the GoodEgg Sandwich, and it was fantastic. Scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, Good Egg mayo, and scallions on perfectly toasted bread – absolutely delicious. My friend went for the Spicy Korean Pork sandwich, and it was a hit too. The flavors of the pork, scrambled eggs, kimchi, and cilantro were just amazing together.

What I really loved was the quality of the food. Everything was fresh and tasted great. It's clear they put a lot of care into what they serve. Plus, they use locally sourced ingredients, which is a big win in my book.

We also tried the Spicy Avocado Toast with a fried egg, avocado, crispy chili oil, shredded pork, pickled red onions, and cilantro. It was a flavor explosion – so good! They have a great variety of sandwiches, from Tofu Katsu Sando to Beef Bulgogi Sandwich, so there's something for everyone.

Overall, Good Egg in Bend is a fantastic addition to the local food scene. Whether you live here or are just visiting, you gotta check this place out. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Can't wait to come back and try more of their tasty dishes!

Mostly leaving this review to post a pic of the menu since it's literally nowhere on the internet as of today! 6/27/24. This place has great bones and I'm excited to see them get fully functioning.

The eggs were great. They do offer gluten bread but it's neither listed on the menu nor in the ordering kiosk so I had to ask for it. The guy working was very nice but the message got lost so it came out wrong and they had to remake it. No biggie, but seems like an easy edit to put in the kiosk ordering.

Tots were delicious but they were not able to fully confirm whether or not they were gluten free.

Sandwiches were tasty but the GF bread (a bun) was underwhelming compared to the brioche they offer. Not a complaint! Just an observation.

I ordered a sandwich this morning. I was happy to see you all had curbside car pickup (I had a sick, sleeping kiddo in my car). I arrived before the time my order was going to be ready, continued to wait until about 15min after my order was supposed to be ready and no one came out with my order . I tried calling the associated number but it wasn’t going through. I ended up having to run inside and the person at the counter had my order and when I mentioned I’d been waiting outside he didn’t seem to know (my order ticket had curbside on it).
