Lots of rough reviews on here for a restaurant that just opened. I don't know about others, but I've never had a "100% impressed feeling" from a brand new opening of any restaurant. I've now eaten here 3-4 times and it's a great, overall offering. Clean, local sourced food that doesn't leave me "feeling gross" like other fast offerings are likely to. I've had the breakfast bowl (it was great, even though I got slammed at work and had to wait 2-3 hours to eat it, even cold, it still was legit!), Burger (really good burger!) and fried chicken sandwich (again, I wasn't able to eat it for about and hour, but it was still good, cold and all, and that's totally on me). Sweet potato fries are very good as well. Overall, I'm happy to have this option available for a quick food source. Local company, locally owned and offering an affordable, fast food offering, basically competing with McDonalds (right across the street) and I'd say it's what a health-conscious person would love. Healthy, clean, real food, cooked upon request. Overall, 5/5, while a lot of folks were upset with their first experience (when there were huge lines both because of the hype and new employees) and they need to give it another shot. I'm stoked to have this...

This is a “pending” three stars, based on the fact they just opened and I will definitely give these guys another chance because their menu looks awesome and I would love for them to succeed. However, I am posting this because I hope someone in charge sees this and makes sure that they are more vigilant on the QC. I took my order to go and didn’t inspect til I got home, otherwise I would’ve said something there, but my order (the crispy Thai) was missing promised components (Brussels and carrots) and the coconut chicken soup was about one small ladle with zero chicken or veggies in a pretty big to go bowl. So it looked like it was half eaten already! Flavors and freshness on all of it were great and I am looking forward to trying other dishes. They were packed and food was pretty fast, but fast food concept with so many components in each dish, they will have to be more careful about making sure everything promised is in there. I was kind of bummed because I got the Thai bowl for the brussel sprouts! This is also a caveat to customers trying out this new place, make sure everything is in there before you take your food to go! I hope they work out the kinks, as conscientious as they are with their food, hopefully they’ll get there with...

Good food...young uncarring staff! Our food was good, ordered a smoothie which was not. I took it back and told them, they responded with "yeah I dont like that kind either."

??? Really? And thats it? Well I guess they threw it away for me...so that's something.

Its a shame to have such a nice place run by people that are just there to make a paycheck and don't really care about the business or its customers. It really just ruins all the hard work all the rest of the company has put into building their brand.

I decided to go ask for my $8 back. The manager pretended to refund me the money. When he handed me a copy of my receipt with no refund and told me it was voided I told him it did not show voided. He then took another few moments to bag in his computer screen, which was 3 times longer than it originally took him to hand me the first receipt paper. Its obvious he was just trying to give me the run around. Had I not noticed and requested he actually refund my money I would have walked out of there thinking it was handled and it wasn't.

Pretty sneaky to not have to explain an $8 return at the end of the day. FYI we spent $50 in there before we ordered the smoothie.

The beyond burger was still...

Fast.. Delicious.. Gluten free.. does it exist? Yes! This is the perfect spot for a quick counter style meal. Anyone with a food allergy knows it is hard to find safe food options on the road. As a nomad with food allergies, I was delighted to find this delicious jewel on a road trip through the Bend, Oregon area. Life & Time offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have both counter and drive through style ordering. The chicken strips and fries were cooked to golden brown perfection. The elk chili warms your soul on a chilly day. I had the opportunity to grab a breakfast bowl on my way out of town and that was equally as delicious. The staff is knowledgeable and accommoding to those with food sensitivities. Ordering was easy at the kiosk but staff was available to ask questions. They have an outdoor dining patio if you prefer to dine al fresco. The restaurant and restroom facilities are spotlessly clean. You can tell ownsership truly cares about where their food comes from and what they serve to others. I would love to see this model of fast food dining in other cities.

Walked in for the first time today and was greeted within the first few seconds of walking in. The menu is pretty easy to understand and while the prices are a bit high, the quality makes up for it. I ordered the club chicken sandwich with the crispy chicken (like in the photo on the menu). This was one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve had. The avocado was perfectly ripe, the chicken was crispy and I could taste a hint of peanut oil I believe. I could easily eat this sandwich with one hand without anything falling out. The tables were all clean and chairs pushed in. The music was pretty fitting for the environment as kind of fun and calming. Overall a great experience and I can’t wait to come back to try more of the menu. I have no doubt they will keep my 5 star rating. UPDATE: I have been back about 6 times already and have tried their double burger (very good), Tex Mex Bowl (holy f*** so good) and a few others. Still 5/5.

My husband and I are gluten and dairy free. We did a lot of research on where to eat when planning our trip to Bend. My husband ordered the grilled fish taco (which came in a bowl); we asked for it to be dairy free and said no cojita cheese or chipotle-lime crema but it still came out with the crema. When the correct order did arrive, it was absolutely delicious. I was expecting a larger portion though for the price. I got the adult chicken strips which were more like large chicken nugget sized. The gluten free/vegan batter was tasty but the chicken itself was a little dry + there were only 4 pieces. The sweet potato fries were amazing; soft yet crispy and not greasy! The regular fries would have been amazing too but our came to us cold. There is a nice outside patio area to eat too. We will definitely come here again to try something different.
