Quickly in Benicia: Not a Full Service Location
I've been to many Quickly locations in the Bay Area, and this is the first one that doesn't serve food. This was a major disappointment, as I was planning to get a meal along with my drink.
The store was clean but empty, and hip hop music was playing with curse words flying. I don't mind, but some people may find this offensive.
While I was there, a few customers came in to order but left after being told that there is no restroom. I think they took their business next door, where there are restrooms and competing drinks.
I ordered a Chubby Hokkaido, which was good, but they only have two sizes: regular and large. They do seem to have almost the whole drink line, though.
Overall, it's a shame that this Quickly location doesn't have the full menu, especially since it's in a great spot. I might stop by for a drink from time to time if it's convenient, but otherwise, I'll go to a different...
Read moreLast night, my wife and I headed out to the Quickly in Benicia and arrived to see that they were under new management. We were welcomed by the new owners, Lloyd and Andre, who took a few moments to talk about their vision for the shop and to offer us free samples of some items they intend on selling in the near future. They also offered us (along with all the other guests) Hawaiian and Filipino food, which was catered for their celebration. They also talked about making use of their open space for art shows, foodie events, etc… I’m excited to see what they have in store for the shop, as long as they keep my Cantaloupe Snow on the menu! Best of luck to the brothers Andre and Lloyd, we’ll...

I didn't get my order until 9:55 and left without checking it as I was starving by that point; being pregnant it's really hard to wait that long. When I got home I opened it to see that I had received LONGsilog instead of a BANGsilog. I don't eat pork so it was extra upsetting on top of the hour wait. Very disappointing experience.
Only plus side for 2 stars is my husband said their chicken skewers were better than...
