First of all: you do not have to be a member to come enjoy Harvest. While it is member-supported it is not required and, as of January 1, there will not be any memberships.
Bennington's Best Kept Secret is quickly being not just whispered between friends but shouted from the rooftops. This is, hands down, the best place to grab a beer in Bennington. Phenomenal list poured by people who know beer. But it's about more than beer.
On any given night you'll have locals, college kids, tourists and families enjoying drinks, games, recorded music (Sean's vinyl collection is sick), live music by awesome local musicians, and lots of laughs. The regulars are a wide mix of friendly people from all walks of life who are welcoming to newcomers.
There is food and it is gooooood. Sean and Lydia offer one bowl weekly. This is usually a grain with veggies and sometimes a meat option but one time they had sliders. Sean & Lydia are offering a welcoming, safe, friendly space for the community where Bennington is able to show off how great it is. Definitely a place to put...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhat a fantastic place!! We went to Bennington as a destination for a ride. We found Harvest Brewing completely by accident and sure were happy we did. We started out at the Madison Brewing Company, but after the experience of being ignored for about 15 minutes, we left and figured if we walked around we'd find something. The beer selection was small, but delicious! And the menu was the same. I have a limited diet and I could order almost everything off of this menu. The music was vinyl and sounded awesome. The environment was friendly and laid back. And we could do chalk drawings on the bar. That was fun. If you are in Bennington, check out...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDude, there isnāt enough stars for this review. This Neil Young themed brewery is beyond emotional nostalgic and mellow vibes, the beers are all all smooth, from the breakfast stout to the citizen cider. Our food was from another realm, the Mac and cheese had hints of jalapeƱos, beer cheese with the pretzel and our grilled cheese was grill bliss, with apples grilled on earth sky time vonderbread. Just, thank you for...
