The Brownsville Antique Centre — Local services in Lower Southampton Township

Before I even entered the store I felt a bad vibe by a woman that kept walking past the car. My friend and I walked in and there was a woman behind the counter and a man and women on the other side. We asked if we could show some things and they said to bring it in. While my friend was talking with the lady behind the counter I had walked away because the other lady kept adding her two cents. Kinda annoying then the man followed me maybe he thought I was going to steal something or maybe he wanted to just talk. So I was even more annoyed went back up to the front and this woman was still non stop taking shots about the stuff we had I have a painting worth 1500 and some really old coins worth 5 to 7 hundred each. I said maybe if they weren't interested maybe they could point us in the right direction... All I can remember is the lady that wasn't working said to me that I should go to a pawn shop and get the ren dollars for my three coins.. I had to walk out. I have no clue why we treated like this. If they weren't interested from the beginning then say it. And btw the stuff I had wasn't junk at all I'm glad I sold it...

Stopped in here today for the first time after following this store on Facebook for a few months and there is so much good stuff here!! Prices are great and they have a little bit of everything. Everyone that worked here was super helpful and nice as well. Highly recommend!! So many gorgeous & unique antique and vintage items — it was hard to choose just a few! Has 3 floors in the main building and a second building all brimming with interesting antiques. There is a huge variety of stuff to look through from furniture and clothing to collectibles and home decor. Prices vary as it seems each vendor prices things a little different, but the staff I met seemed kind and willing to help out with stuff.
