Black Dragon Sushi — Restaurant in Lower Southampton Township

The presentation is great, and the packaging looks very fancy, almost as if you were preparing for a business lunch or a romantic date. However, a couple of nuances spoiled the first impression. First of all, the rolls are huge. I can’t imagine how wide a person is supposed to open their mouth to eat them neatly. It’s nearly impossible, and in the end, it looks as if a hamster had stuffed its cheeks with grain. Besides that, the pieces are not tight enough, and some of them fell apart when I picked them up with chopsticks and tried to dip them in soy sauce, especially the baked rolls. The rolls are overstuffed with soft cheese, mayo, and other ingredients with strong flavors. Some people might like this style, but since everything is salted and the seafood isn’t raw, the overall taste becomes just salted rice with mayo. Cucumber and other bland ingredients don’t help balance the taste. My order also included baked mussels, but unfortunately, they were overcooked, and the sauce on top completely masked their flavor. Guys, seriously, this is the best sushi bar I've ever been to in America. I love rolls, but when I came to the US, I visited a lot of places and every time I got an allergic reaction to sushi, and the taste in general left much to be desired. But then I accidentally tried your rolls and I was afraid that I would have an allergy again or that the taste would be like the Ninja bar or something like that. BUT GUYS, I just fell off my feet when I realized that this is exactly what I missed so much, I enjoyed rolls for the first time in 5 years! 😍 you stole my heart 💛🖤 I want to add - I read negative reviews for fun. It's just ridiculous to give 1 star because you didn't pick up the phone at the reception?! Seriously? this is not a call center but a bar where they can't talk to 10 visitors on the phone at the same time😑 another 1-star review without explanation, what nonsense 😐 although I think the person who left it was just jealous of this place 😆 in short, absolutely undeserved negative reviews that ruined the ABSOLUTELY...
