Know that I have not eaten at McDonald's in over a year or more. This day I was in Bensalem on my way to a meeting. It was already a long work day. Tired & hungry. I saw the new McDonald's rebuild and thought it'd be more relaxing to stop here & eat in rather than go to Wawa. I wanted to eat at a table rather than in my car. This was my first experience using the newer self serve kiosk & visiting the newly built McDonald's after the tear down of the old one. The newer kiosk was slightly different to use. No big deal. I got this! Lol If you are eating in. It tells you to get the number of your table and food will be brought to you. So I find a table close by. Get the number and go back to the kiosk to complete placing my order. I pay through the kiosk and do what it tells me to do. To be sure to have a seat at the numbered table you typed in and the food will be brought to you. Thinking cool! I can sit, relax & read what's on the meeting's agenda, I"m heading to while I wait for my food to be brought over. Instead the manager yells out the table number. Thinking he didn't know where my table was. I got up & walked up to the counter to pick up my food. No one at the counter. Just a bag. I check the bag to make sure it is mine. It is. My previous experience with a similar set up was in the Lehighton, PA McDonald's. They always did as per kiosk told you to expect. Listen...I don't mind having to get up and serve myself. Just don't make me stop in the middle of ordering to get a table number to key in to continue my order. Have me expect certain service then not be given it. Restaurant was not busy. Drive thru was not busy. Why the yelling from behind the counter to guest to pick up their food? I rarely, in fact ever give poor reviews and this McDonald's location has good memories for me as a kid. Also as a parent bringing my kids here when they were little. I'm happy Bensalem has a brand new McDonald's restaurant and that McDonald's kept the original sign. Place was nice and clean. I just suggest you use the drive-thru when you visit this...
Read moreUsually, I have a good experience. Today was HORRIBLE! I did an online order and came to pick it up. I confirmed my order number through the drive-thru and was just ignored for a few minutes. After saying “hello” the lady asked what I wanted to order, so I asked what window do I pick my order up from. She told me window 2. I went to window 2 and waited and waited. Nobody came to the window, so I drove around again and told her that nobody came to the window. She told me, “you must’ve gone to the 3rd window which is pickup window 2. Just go to that one and we’ll have your order.” Well, with people acting a lot like maniacs in the line, there was no way I could bypass all of the people in front of me, so I got to the window when it was my turn. Again, NOBODY was there! So, I came inside. I explained my situation and was told, “I sent someone to that window, but YOU weren’t there.” She then went to get my cold food and Luke warm coffee. I told her that I wasn’t accepting cold food and coffee. She got mad and asked if I just want my money back. I told her that I came for food, paid for it and expected to get it fresh like everyone else. She snatched the food from the counter and went to remake it. I told her that the coffee was too cold and she snapped at me, “I’m going to make you more of that too!” Then, when she brought the coffee, she slammed it down on the counter angrily. Read moreAnother terrible experience with same restaurant McDonald's. But different location. First one was at the McDonald's on the 5020 City Line ave. And now this McDonald's. Same issue as the last time. Terrible food, not prepared well. I asked for american cheese on the McChicken but unfortunately they did not put it in. It shows on the receipt that "add american cheese" and a charged also next to it. But they did not put the cheese and also I wonder how do this restaurant pass the food safety test. To be honest if I was incharge of food safety, then I would 110% close this McDonald's. Everytime this is my experience to every McDonald's I have yet visited in my life. Also filing complaint isn't gonna help. Because I've tried that multiple time but no answer or no action. Lastly their customer service is trash. I tried calling the store nearly ten times but no answer. So, I tried again two hours later but still no answer. Kept trying till three attempts but no answer.
