Eddington House offers a lively sports bar and restaurant vibe, which makes it an excellent choice for watching the Phillies game. The waitress was friendly and informative; however, the service felt rushed, and we had to ask for extra napkins for our wings and drink refills. We ordered the Griffins Garlic Hot Wings and the Garlic Parmesan wings, which were quite tasty. I opted for the Classic Cheeseburger with added bacon and a side of mayo, and I upgraded to onion rings. The onion rings were excellent! However, the burger ended up being well done. I noticed that the waitress didn’t ask how I preferred my burger, which led me to wonder if they only serve it one way or if it was a smash burger. Personally, I prefer a burger cooked to medium rare, so I found the well-done option a bit disappointing. While I appreciated the generous three slices of bacon, I was surprised to see a charge for the mayo, as I typically expect it to be included. Overall, I believe Eddington House has potential, but some areas could be improved. With many dining options in the area, I hope they might consider reevaluating their condiment policy and offering a choice for burger doneness. I would be open to giving it another try in the future!

Initially, I was drawn in for the weekend specials that I read about online. I ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp Po Boy. The shrimp is battered and deep fried and it was drizzled in a delish bang bang sauce and pickles which concelled that the shrimp was just barely over done. It came with a huge side of Cajun mac and cheese which had just the right amount jalapeno. For 9.99, I left with a full stomach and some mac & cheese leftovers Ill be looking forward to eating later. My husband ordered one of the daily specials, a chicken cordon bleu sandwhich with a side of fries 9.99. The chicken was juicy and the ham and cheese were bubbly on top. He said the side of shoe string fries were tasty, but it was a smaller potion, not quite enough for sharing. The Eagles game was on and was visible from just about every seat in the house. Our server was newer but attentive and she clearly happy to be working here. The EHouse feels like a mom and pop place. I was happy to finally make it to this gem, and I will be back for sure. You will not regret making that turn off Street Road to opt for this humble treasure.

Heading to the park, one needs to fuel up ahead of time. There are plenty restaurants in the area that are frequented by various crowds at different times, so that it feels like everyone is experiencing that place to have a shared experience together. Not this place! We felt like the odd group out, whereas everyone else were the regulars. On the bar side of the joint, the game was on, and there came the occasional cheer when sports team scored points or did something especially favorable for the entertainment pleasure of those watching said athletic event. After requesting they turn down the television directly over our table, I didn't mind the rest of the ambiance of those who had come to pick up where they left off the night before. The cocoanut shrimp was good! And the beachy pirate treasure-themed tables were a hit for our toddler who, despite being told otherwise, continued to try and pick up the seashells embedded under an inch of epoxy. It was precisely what was needed before heading to the state park.

Waitress was HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE ATTITUDE. HORRIBLE customer service. Removing the racial aspect even though that could have played a factor....here it goes. If i could guve the service a negative star, I would. No exaggeration

The waitress appeared annoyed from the beginning.

She wasnt paying attention and placed a sangria at the center of the table that was unevenly situated. The drink fell and the glass broke. Sangria spilled on my white sneakers. She took no accountability, provided no apology. Also if she walked the drink over to the person who ordered instead of reaching over the table she potentially could have avoided the spill

She leaves the soaked sangria dirty towel after attempting a clean up on our table with very limited space for 2 hours. No lie

I ordered a old fashion at some point and she proceeds to say what kind. I repeated myself and she did likewise. Then she begins to name liquors. The question should have been what brand of liquor, we serve with xyz, is that ok

Someone else ordered chicken fingers and fries. Again, she asked what kind. Confused, so they repeated what they ordered and what she really wanted to know was what sauce. Smh. Ask what sauce!! Is this fancy waitressing now

4 people= 4 checks per our request She provided 3 smh She had the checks ALL WRONG even though she said the checks were based on what each person ordered. She also had an extra sangria on the bill and proceed to tell us we ordered 5 at some point. There was 3 sangrias total dispersed throughout the bills. That would be acceptable if 1 of the 3 wasn't the one she mishandled. Why should we be charged for your error?! Again not taking accountability for spilling the drink. She proceeded to argue with us stating we ordered 5 sangrias. We ordered 2 sangrias, 1 merlot, 1 margarita, 1 old fashion and 1 irish tea which was sent back because the customer wasnt satisfied. How she got 5 sangrias will forever baffle me

Ultimately we were charged or 6 drinks but it should have been 5 as one she spilled and the other was sent back. So go figure she charged for the spilt sangria or the drink that was returned

She proceeds to charge for 3 sangrias despite our dispute. One which I paid for in cash. I handed her a $10 bill she returns with the credit cards/ receipts for the other checks. I asked for my change and she says oh $2?! I responded Yes!!! My $2! The audacity for a waitress to assume my change is hers to keep. She didn't even have the decency to return my $2. She sent another worker. Again avoiding accountability.

Ultimately we attended a paint night and that part went well. The food was blah as well as the drinks. The overall experience suffered largely due to the waitress. No need to recommend or return. Only regret I have is not requesting the manager but the way things had been going I wouldn't be surprised if it was her and that would be devastating to say the least.

Maybe the owner will have a chat with us. If it is the women in the picture we are screwed because somewhat looks like the...

I really do like this place. Overall good food and really great service. Atmosphere is great. The first time I went there was in May of 2023.

The only problem is they can never make my cheeseburger right! Whenever I order it medium it usually comes out being raw in the middle. Yesterday for example I ordered it with white bread not toasted but it came out toasted. The waitress apologized profusely but actually the white bread toasted was pretty good! However the cheeseburger was raw in the middle again so at that point I lost my appetite and told the waitress to send it back. She apologized and wanted to know if I wanted anything else and I told her no. Next time I'll get something besides a burger, I'm just tired of sitting there and while everyone else is eating I'm waiting for my food to be refired. Burgers are pretty much the most basic thing. I can cook that myself at home and make it right. 15 year old kids with no cooking experience can make them at McDonald's. I've never gone with anyone that has ordered a burger so I can't speak about other people's experiences with burgers. When I go back I will try some of the other things on the menu. I usually go with a friend or friends and they really enjoyed their sandwiches and pasta dishes.

They have great chicken wings. The cheesesteak rolls are amazing. Out of all the places I go to they actually know how to make the french fries perfect!

Overall is a really great place and a great atmosphere. The waitresses remember you and they're always very friendly. Kind of like a Cheers! I really...
