Edit 2: Went for dosas to the restaurant. They were delicious! I also confirmed with the owner that the absence of eggs in biryani is due to the recent supply issues of eggs. Hopefully, they will make a comeback in biryani soon! Edit: Came here to update the review since I have had the chance to have eaten a few more things from this place, since my last review.
I have moved to Levittown recently and obviously looked up all the Indian places nearby. Found this place that not only has the Indian staples but also Indo-Chinese. I definitely had to try that. Till now, I have ordered take-outs and also deliveries through Door dash and UE. I have been ordering a variety of veg and non-veg items from this restaurant in the last 1 month and they are good. The portion size is usual, but the taste really is good. My Indian taste buds are happy! Till now, I have ordered and tried the following items and none of these are a letdown: Dal Tadka 2. Mattar Paneer 3. Aloo-gobi (one of the best aloo-gobis out there) 4. Goat Curry 5. Egg hakka noodles (thanks for reminding me of the taste of Kolkata Street food!) 6. Egg-Chicken hakka noodles 7. Chicken soup (this could have been better, it was less soup more Chilli Chicken gravy) 8. Jalebis (I probably won't order this again because I have a very sensitive nose when it comes to fried sweets and I could smell the oil). I still have the following items that I picked up this afternoon, which I will eat over the next couple of days: Dal Makhni 2. Malai Kofta 3. Chicken Vindaloo 4. Egg curry Very satisfied. I will make time and go for their sit-in arrangement too one of these days, especially to try the dosas and the Chicken Biryani (I hope their biryani is similar to Kolkata Biryani or at least Lucknow Biryani - so damn tired of eating all Hyderabadi Biryani...
Read moreToday I ordered pav bhaji over the phone from this Indian hut restaurant and Then that Indian woman told me you can pick up your order of pav bhaji in 20 minutes. and Then I reached Indian Hut restaurant in 20 minutes to take my order of Pav Bhaji and Then that Indian woman tells me that it will take another 30 minutes and Still, I didn’t say anything And I started waiting for the pav bhaji order Then later my pav bhaji was ready and came on the table counter and Still that Indian woman did not give me my pav bhaji And that Indian woman was talking to someone on the phone And the manager of the Indian Hut restaurant went into the kitchen and It was already more than 15 minutes and my pav bhaji tablet was still on the counter And that Indian woman was still on the phone And Then later I asked that Indian woman to give me my pav bhaji But those Indian women deliberately did not listen to me And those Indian women ignored me Then later the manager of the Indian Hut restaurant came out of the kitchen And the manager of that Indian hut restaurant started getting angry at me without any reason Then I also got very angry at the manager of that Indian hut restaurant but I controlled my anger And I told that Indian Hut restaurant that my Pav Bhaji was lying on the table counter for a long time. That pav bhaji got cold later because it is winter time Then the manager of that Indian Hut restaurant told me not to come to Indian Hut restaurant next time to get food. So This Indian hut restaurant manager doesn't care about how he talks to the customers And I am also a successful businessman I know how to talk to customers And till date, no customer has complained about my business. Then I became a successful businessman so The manager of Indian Hut restaurant has no right to tell me not to order food here next time Because it's not my fault The mistake is of the Indian woman who works in an Indian hut restaurant and it is her and the manager's. And otherwise If I want, I can report the complaint against that Indian Hut restaurant manager to Food Safety Pennsylvania Department of Health I since childhood I cannot tolerate or see anything wrong happening anywhere. I request all of you not to go to this Bensalem Indian Hut restaurant to eat food Then the owner and manager of this Indian hut restaurant will realize the value of customers. From today onwards I will not order food at this Indian hut restaurant Where such...
Read moreIf you want rude customer service, Indian Hut is the place to go! I called to place a pick up order of 3 items from the menu. After I placed my order I asked the man taking my order to read it back to me and his response was “why are you giving me a hard time? Your order is placed” he refused to read back my order. My husband and I went to the restaurant to pick up our order and were hoping to have a small chat with the man who took our order, thinking maybe he’s just having a rough day and just had a moment. When we approached him and tried to explain that I just wanted to be sure our order was correct he cut us off and said “yeah you’re giving me a hard time. I took your order, it’s only 2 things so why do I have to read it back to you?” I responded “because that’s incorrect, I ordered 3 not 2 items off the menu. This is why you read orders back” He literally huffed and puffed, rolled his eyes and said “well I’m impatient and don’t want to read orders back”. He tried to argue that he’s too busy to stay on the phone that long when the fact of the matter was that he had less than 5 customers in the restaurant and you could hear the crickets over the music playing. It was dead in there! He wasted so much time arguing why he didn’t want to read the order back. He refused to acknowledge his mistake and rude behavior and told us we don’t have to eat here. We ended up walking out without our food. I don’t know how he’s running a busy with such a negative and unwelcoming attitude. His response was so inappropriate and rather than try to turn the situation around by a simple apology, he made it worse and basically told us “we’ll I’m impatient and you just have to deal with it”. To say the least, Indian Hut, you lost a customer of many years. I’m very...
