I love me some Panda Express! They have so many healthy low calorie high protein options. Traditional Chinese restaurants offer a diet menu of plain sauceless steamed veggies and proteins which is boring. Panda offers entrees from 150-340 calories that are delicious and satisfying! My favorites are the honey sesame chicken, mushroom chicken and beef and broccoli. I highly recommend getting the super greens and asking them to put on your entree on top of them. The super greens are protein and nutrient packed and when the entree is on top of them the sauce coats it making them perfection. Also if calorie counting isnāt your thing Iād recommend the orange chicken! Itās the best thing on their menu. The staff is always super nice. If you have the app they also send you a birthday reward and you earn points that can be redeemed for free food. They also have $35 family meals with multiple entrees and sides which is very reasonably priced. I also like that they are on top of food allergens. This is something that traditional Chinese restaurants donāt offer. which allows more people to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have picked up take out at this location probably a half dozen times now, every pickup has been through the drive thru with no issues. Tonight I pull through the drive thru and a guy who barely speaks English answers the window, I said āIām here for a takeout orderā he responds with āooooookkkā shuts the window and walks away. Literally 15min goes by and nothing⦠finally cars start to back up behind me and he comes back to the window only to tell me that Iām blocking the drive through⦠I again tell him Iām here to pickup takeout and he responds with āpickup is only in store and not for the drive thruā. Ok so you just let me sit in the drive thru for 15min knowing I had a take out order? Why didnāt you just communicate this with me when you answered the window the first time almost 15min ago? Who the heck is running this place? All you have to do is open your mouth and communicate with the customer! Clearly there is zero management at this location. I feel like im living in the...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePanda Express used to be in all the mall food courts, until they gradually shut down. Now, it appears they're back in the form of standalone restaurants. I do miss the food court Panda Expresses but the standalone restaurants are a bit more cosy, I guess. Their food is comparable to mall food court Chinese, scooped out from steam trays. Prices are a tad higher than Chinese vendors at food courts, but I find that Panda Express is tasty and they show some innovation in combining and making up new flavors beyond the usual selections.
The only problems I saw at this restaurant are the limited parking around the restaurant, although it wasn't really a problem on a night when the restaurant wasn't full, and the state of the restroom, which is not the fault of the restaurant because it appears one of the patrons tried fo flush down chopsticks.
Overall though, I welcome the opening of Panda Express in the southeast Pennsylvania area, as an alternative to the more common chain...
