I would suggest ordering from a different location. I love Pizza Hut, and I'd choose this brand over any other pizza options, but the Bentleyville, PA location cannot be trusted to deliver quality food as ordered. We've experienced issues with their service in the past, but allow me to describe today's letdown...
After about 20 minutes of placing today's online order for delivery, we received a call to notify us that they have no driver available tonight. After some discussion, we selected to keep our order and instead pick it up - not a big deal, just a bit inconvenient. The order was for two large pizza, a large order of boneless wings, an order of breadsticks, and perhaps most importantly, 4 sides of pizza sauce for dipping. A family member volunteered to pick it up for us, and we all waited as patiently as possible (after the late notice and drive time, it was about an hour from when we first ordered that the food finally got here.) After setting the food down and digging in, we noticed the fatal mistake - not a single side of sauce was included, not even one for the breadsticks.
I know this sounds trivial, but nearly every member of my family does the same thing - pour a big pile of sauce on our plates to dip the pizza and breadsticks. Now we're stuck without our favorite part of the meal, and by the time someone went to pick it up and bring it back, the pizza would be cold. But the worst part is this - our step father who picked up the order, knowing our love for the sauce, asked the clerk at the counter to confirm that the extra sides were present, and they agreed it was in the box. As you might expect, we are all pretty disappointed, and this will be our last time ordering from...
Read moreI try not to even order from Pizza Hut anymore, I prefer to get pizza through Hilltop down the road because they are excellent... but I had a bunch of kids to feed today and the deals on Pizza Hut made it way cheaper. Should have known better. They never have a driver and usually I don't care cause it's just my son and I. Today I was babysitting and I don't have a vehicle big enough to put 5 small children in. Usually I am very understanding of the no driver as it's hard for all companies with no employee's lately. But they called AN HOUR after I placed my order to inform me I could come pick it up for a 20% discount or wait till 4 when they had a driver. I ordered at 12:30, so waiting till 4pm with 5 small hungry children wasn't going to work. I would have been more understanding if I would have received a call after I placed the order, but instead they waited until almost 20 minutes after my order should have even been delivered to call and tell me it couldn't...
Read moreI want to acknowledge the amazing efforts on the part of the ONLY employee working last night. I personally would have felt extremely defeated to attempt to do absolutely everything all by myself. This individual took orders, made the food, packaged it and then assisted the customers with payment. (Not to mention the mess she would take care of at the end of her shift to close.) She was polite, efficient and just kept going. I realize she was doing the job of at least 3 people. And I also realize you probably won’t pay her for doing the job of 3 people. But, at the very least she should be rewarded with paid time off and all expenses paid for a long weekend or several days in a row. Nothing awards loyalty like true appreciation from the company that you just “saved their reputation”! It’s a tax write off or a vendor incentive. Please show her how much you appreciate her!! Excellent job to that young woman! Thank you for...
