Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Benton Charter Township

I placed an pick up order and arrived at the this location about 20 minutes after my order was placed. At any other Jimmy John's, this would be more than enough time. I told them that I was there and that my order would be after the next online order was processed. As I waited 20 more minutes, I saw 30+ vehicles go though the drive through and numerous walk-ins get their food ahead of me. I asked about my order and they said they would be begin working on it as several more customers from the drive through were served ahead of me. It was clear that they were just randomly grabbing tickets and you could see them mixing the tickets around instead of making them as they are printed from the order machines. After 10 more minutes, I told the manager what they were doing and he said they were just short staffed. The issue had nothing to do with staffing, just incompetent people not following a process with zero experience in customers service. I will never be coming back to...

I want to start by saying that I dont typically like Jimmy Johns. My wife and son do though. It happens that we were on our way to Chicago and got diverted through this city due to slow traffic on the freeway and couldn't find anywhere else to eat so we stopped here. I reluctantly ordered a sub which appears to be a new item. I think it was the toasted Italian sub. Anyways, from the moment we walked in the door, I felt like I was already no longer in Michigan. The attitudes of the employees were so much better than what I'm used to, the sub was actually pretty good and filled me up, which Jimmy John's subs normally dont do. There wasnt anywhere to sit and eat because there's no inside seating, but other than that, I may decide to take Jimmy John's off my "not eating there again" list. This place is not fast at all anymore. Nobody greets you at all. They just ask you for your order, no good afternoon or good evening or may I help you. When you get to the window, they open the window and just look at you and stick out their hand they don’t say welcome, or tell you what the cost is or anything hardly at all. Then it takes forever to get one sandwich when there’s nobody even in line. Then to wrap it up, these rude young people that they have working there never say thank you or come again, or have a good evening… Nothing. This place really has gone downhill and sucks.
