A couple of people told me about Good Fortune and how good the food was. I tried it a months ago. I didn't really enjoy it. When I walked in, I was a little scared. The dining room was a bit cluttered. It seemed like the owners threw their unwanted things into the dinning room.
I ordered Beef Fried Rice, Governor's Chicken, Sesame Chicken, and Beef Low Mein. I was disappointed by the Governor's Chicken. It turned out to be General Tso's Chicken. There is a BIG difference between Governor's Chicken and General Tso's. My Beef Fried Rice was not beef. It tasted like pork and that was a disappointment. The Beef Low Mein was SO greasy and not flavorful.

I'm not going to pull punches. I went here because the Google reviews were decent. The service from the lady was great, which is the ONLY reason this doesn't get a one-star review. The Egg Drop Soup was absolutely vile and I couldn't eat more than a single spoonful. The egg rolls were so overcooked that they were drowning in oil. The General Tsos chicken, which let's be honest, is the easiest of all Chinese dishes to make was this sweet and sour style madness, formatted in takeout hell. I was not expecting world class food, but this didn't even quality for mediocre. There is absolutely zero chance I will return. A shame too, because i love to support "hole in the wall" type...

I noticed that Good Fortune increased their prices, and decreased their food quality. I ordered a large container of shrimp fried rice, and a large container of sweet and sour pork along with 4 egg rolls. The shrimp in the shrimp fried rice didn’t taste like shrimp, and I noticed that the shrimp were very red as if they had food coloring on them. The egg rolls were very dry, and tasteless. The sweet and sour pork was horrible. The pork was covered with a very thick, hard batter that was unbearable to eat. It seems that Good Fortune is taking advantage of their customers during this pandemic by overcharging there customers for terrible food. I will never purchase any food from good...
