This company made the wedding cake for an event I attended tonight! The cake was absolutely gorgeous BUT the brief service of them dropping it off AWFUL! I am one of the guests and I just so happen to be coming in as these two-delivery people ( 1 man and 1 woman) were leaving. The man nearly ran us over as he came around the front host stand trying to leave. He literally made us have to duck out of his way so we could get by us. Then a second couple who was entering through the exit doors they were headed towards quickly saw how fast he was approaching them, and they just backed out of the way and held the door for them to go by. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE by a bakery, let alone a hired vendor on an event I have ever witnessed! SAVE your money and go elsewhere. Let someone who has manners and at least some customer service skills support your event! Do NOT use this company!
EDITED UPDATE a week later: This response is telling. It's clear that you didn't take the time to thoroughly read our review before reacting defensively. If you had, you would have seen that we specifically mentioned the issue occurred as you were leaving the venue—exiting the building. At that point, your cake box safe would have been empty, and while we understand that such items can still be heavy, it's reasonable to expect more awareness of your surroundings. If you can't manage to carry your equipment without being mindful of others or future customers, perhaps it's time to reconsider your methods.
What’s most concerning is that you didn’t even offer a simple "excuse me" as a courtesy. Yet, in your response, you imply that we are the ones lacking kindness. Given your role at the event, one would think basic manners and customer service would be a priority. Who’s really falling short in the customer service department here? Even now, instead of taking ownership or offering a genuine apology, you continue to deflect responsibility. Sadly, your ongoing response only underscores the unprofessionalism we've...
Read moreI had the worst experience at the bar.. there were only two other tables and the girl working upstairs was extremely put out.., there were glasses everywhere, she brought us our water and when I said I need a second to decide on a drink I waited 20min for her to return…….again…….there were only two other tables and it looked like one was her friends… when she finally came back I said I’d pass on getting a drink and she responded with “ok awesome” and walked off … I was so sad with this service bc the place is so cool but this wasn’t ok.. idk her name but clearly she didn’t want to be working and took it out on us 😵💫😵💫 I will not be returning -
photos: taken when we first arrived .. the table of 3 left shortly after
Update to business response: Mentioning that you are understaffed has no excuse for your one bartender to ignore their two tables and only chat with their friends.. your bartender could 'simply' check in with their tables every 10min since there was only one other table there that wasn't their...
Read moreI can’t say enough good things about Butterscotch Bakery and Bar! From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that truly embodies inclusivity and kindness. It’s clear this is a space where everyone, regardless of who they are, feels respected and celebrated.
The staff are incredibly friendly and genuinely passionate about creating a space that’s not just about great food and drinks but also about building community. It’s disheartening to see people leaving unfair reviews without even stepping foot in this wonderful establishment (emphasis on "WITHOUT even stepping foot in ...")
If you’re looking for a local gem that serves incredible baked goods and drinks while fostering a safe and inclusive environment for everyone, Butterscotch Bakery and Bar is the place to be. Bentonville is lucky to have a business like this — I highly recommend giving them...
