My friends and I made a mistake and didn’t know their main options were pizza as my friend just wanted to eat somewhere with good food and drinks. (This is our first visit ever and will be the only time) Our waitress was nice a bit but almost hostile when it came to certain things. Example 1, I just asked for a diff cocktail since the one I first ordered didn’t taste the best to me and wanted something different and I had apologized as I know it came off annoying that I had just got the drink, tried it and didn’t like the taste. She seemed annoyed but continued. Next example 2, was our food. Well on the menu, we thought one column was pizza until when our food came. We were confused at first and just asked if what we ordered was right since we thought we’d be getting a regular dinner like steak or pasta. We weren’t complaining just confused. She turned to my friend and rudely asked “well what did you expect???” We looked at each other in shock as we really didn’t know what to say as it is our first time there and we didn’t know that the menu was all pizza. She then turned to me and ask me what did I also expect. We didn’t argue or complain to her that it’s not what we wanted, just like a “oh we just didn’t know sorry” and ate some of the pizza. I think one of the hosts knew we were not enjoying our meal as she read my receipt I had written on for our waitress of our experience and how we were taken a back after paying dinner. We became uncomfortable and did not feel like eating anymore after our waitress had made that comment towards us as the entire time we weren’t coming off rude or angry with her with our misunderstanding of the menu. I’ll be honest…we won’t be coming back…it was a beautiful place and nice decent atmosphere and one of my buddies works there so it was great...

The atmosphere is cool, But the service is pretty bad unfortunately… my husband and I decided to give it a try based on hearing people talk about it, but our experience was a lot different. We were seated and Our waitress took our order, and then left, never to return… we waited and waited and waited for our meals, but after 45 minutes and several customers receiving their meals after we arrived, we started to wonder what happened? We kept seeing our waitress ask the tables around us how they were doing? But, she never once checked in with us… it was the oddest thing. Finally she walked over to our table and said “sorry, not a very good first impression is it..” and then she asked if we would like her to check on our food? We were in complete shock. She then left our table, and appx 20 minutes later, a manager came over to us with our food like nothing happened. I asked nicely if we could please get a comp for the poor service we were given, and the manager said “no, we’re not going to comp your meal, Our typical wait times are between 45 minutes to an hour, sometimes longer.” As if we were the ones in the wrong. I was again, in absolute shock. This is my first, ever restaurant review and my last time going into peddlers pub. That was all the experience I needed to try. I do not recommend this restaurant and in fact if you are going in hungry, be forewarned. Wait times are unacceptably high and expected to be perfectly acceptable. On top of that, the food was subpar at best:/ definitely more hype than worth that kind of wait. But, honestly the service was what really spoiled the experience for us and I don’t care to give my money to a business with such unethical and unprofessional customer service, no matter what kind of...

Just here to vent, I wouldn’t let this deter you from going to this restaurant! Great pizza, terrible management. We got there and were told we had a 25 minute wait, it was 40 minutes later and a couple groups we saw go before us until we realized we were forgotten about. Well, the hostess said we messaged you and took you off the list. Well never got a text. Whatever. We talked at dinner about how it was weird that they didn’t call out the name to the few groups that were waiting. So I said, I’m going to talk to the manager and say ‘hey, call out names like other restaurants. Well, after having to get our pizza boxed from the line and take our tab, because it took so long to get it (we didnt complain to and tipped our waitress well bc she worked hard and it wasn’t her fault), I asked for manager from host. Well, manager came up and we told him the story, and the dude mocked me, like I was being petty. Like, bro, I didn’t asked for a refund or a discount, or even complain to the waitress. I simply came to you with a criticism, saying, just see if the group is waiting in the lobby before just passing over them, and the short little man mocked me. He’s obviously never read ‘Unreasonable Hospitality’, but he needs to, that’s for sure. So, with this review, just make sure you give the hostess your correct phone number. And try not to deal with the little man. Oh by the way, the pizza...
