Traveling home from NYC and stopped by to pick up bb.q chicken at Bergenfield. While waiting, I googled the nearest coffee shop in town and noticed Bergenfield cafe was just an around the corner. I am a coffee fanatic. When I travel for work, I always search for the greatest 4.5- 5 star coffee shop in the area and have tasted countless varieties from the west, north, south and east coast. To make this short, I ordered a latte with almond milk. Picked up my bb.q chicken order and came back for a second order of latte for the road. I had to ask for the brand of coffee. If you are curious about the coffee type/brand at Bergenfield Cafe, I highly recommend you stop by and give this new coffee shop gem a try!! I've been trying to explore different local cafes near me to try to find the best study/cozy spot with good refreshments. This cafe seems to hit the spot! I ordered the taro lavender latte by recommendation and it was very well made. The drink wasn't too sweet or too overwhelming, but the taro flavor was still present. The decor and large windows allows for a very cozy feel with lots of natural light. Although there was a little communication difficulties (English was barista's second language), the employee was quite pleasant and kind, ensuring that the drink was properly made and to my liking. I’ve been coming here since I moved to Bergenfield and never took the time to leave a review—until now! I visit most Sundays before or after church, and today I finally tried the Hazelnut Donut. Oh my goodness, it was absolutely delicious! As always, the pastries here are incredibly fresh and tasty, but this donut was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had.

The Rose Water Latte was not only delicious but also visually stunning. Every time I come in for breakfast, I’m always happy to see Natalie and Isabel because I know I’ll get exceptional service. Both go above and beyond, even when I forget to tip, and I truly appreciate it. Natalie’s latte-making skills are top-notch. They’re both absolute gems!
