I love this franchise and I was happy one opened closer to my location. However, I was disappointed in the way things were handled when there was a mistake in the ordering process. I attempted to place an order with my account online and the server was acting off. It never asked me for my payment method so I assumed it never went through but I was wrong. I didn't realize until they called me to see if I was picking up the online order 2 hours after it was done. It was cold by then and I had already gone to the store to make an order after the online method wasn't working. When I called the store to let them know my situation, the owner told me they've done things correctly on their end as soon as the order was sent through and they can't refund me because the food was made. They said that all I can do is pick up the chicken after 2 hours had already gone by. I wish they had at least let me know to pick it up earlier if they can't refund me. Instead I was forced to spend an extra $30 on chicken I never got to eat. I contacted corporate and never got a hold back from them. I'm not one to leave bad reviews usually, but consider this a warning for future...

I came for the first time here. I bought the original crispy spicy chicken wings, regular french fries and the regular ddkeok-bokki with cheese. It was delicious. The fries and chicken were nice and crispy. The spicy original chicken order was absolutely delicious and had the perfect amount of spiciness. I even got 1 or 2 extra pieces of chickens wings from the 8 pieces I originally ordered. I've always been interested in trying Korean food. I knew the ddkeo-bokki was going to be a mixture of a spicy and sweet sauce. The sauce was good but was not my preference due to the sweetness. The sweetness was not overpowering but it was not my preferred dish. I loved the rice cakes inside the sauce. I would definitely recommend this place. Came in (dressed in my corporate clothes for my corporate job) and the woman in the front of the store looked at me and walked into the kitchen without acknowledging me at all. Waited 8 minutes to see if ANYONE else would come take my order. She FINALLY came out saying “We don’t have boba anymore.” I explained I didn’t want boba. I wanted to place an order for chicken wings. Her dismissive attitude in saying “yeah, yeah, yeah” as I was placing my order was just rude. She then says “it’s going to be 15-20 minutes.” I’ve waited nearly 10 of those minutes already. Her attitude was very condescending and boarder line racist behavior was enough to make me write this review. First time for everything. Hoping my first visit here would have been great.
