I always look for one word to describe the ingredients everywhere I review. That word for Larosa is clean. The vegetables tasted clean, corn was sweet and delicious, garlic broccoli was cooked to perfection, chicken tenders we're the best I ever had. The rotisserie chicken was falling off the bone, moist and had perfect spicing. The BBQ ribs were really good, cooked very well though I did not like the BBQ sauce flavor it still had a quality taste to it, want to see if I can get the sauce on the side for the ribs and try them again (I am more of a sweet BBQ sauce guy, theirs was vinegar based). The macaroni and cheese left the most pleasant aftertaste on your pallet that it's hard to stop eating it.

The staff was extremely pleasant. My wife and I can not wait to go back and try some more of their offerings.

I frequent this restaurant almost weekly for quite a while now. I order online for easy pick up and go. The food is great. Really fresh and healthy, which is why I continue to come back. Recently I made a mistake an ordered from the Tinton Falls location. It was my mistake, and I was willing to pay again because of that. The owner would not accept that. He called the Tinton Falls location and cancelled my order, even though they had already made it. He also did not charge me again. I've been going to the Madison location for a while but was going to be closer to Berkeley Heights on the occasion of my visit here, and figured I could count on the same great service and delicious food I was used to. That's indeed true, but what I didn't expect was that, when I was unexpectedly waylaid for nearly two hours between placing my order and making it to the restaurant, they'd actually remake my order for free so that I didn't need to eat my lunch cold. That's absolutely excellent service, well above the five stars I'm able to give, and it definitely cements La Rosa as my number-one lunch spot when...
