Cousins Deli and Convenience — Restaurant in Berkeley Heights

This place was very good, at one time. As of my last 3 visits. They are now only a place I would go if every other Sandwich shop was closed. They stretch a slice of ham, a slice of salami and a slice of cheese as thin as possible to make a sandwich. I don't care if you want to charge more for your subs, put meat on them. Make me want to go back to you again. This is Berkeley Heights, give me a fat sandwich and I will pay for it. I would tell all my friends how wonderful you guys are. But as of now. I write this review saying you will not make it unless you change. You are in a great location, plenty of opportunity, but only if you make a Sandwich that people will talk...

Horrible experience. Apparently different inexperienced crew on weekends. Almost empty at 12:15pm on Sunday - took 30 mins to get 2 breakfast sandwiches and a wrap. Iced coffee machine not working. 2 of the 3 sandwiches wrong despite being asked to repeat order several times, including 1 that was on the specials board right behind them as pointed out. After order placed, the cook at grill was standing doing nothing for 10-15 mins as turns out cashier did not give him order.

And even being asked if I want peppers and said yes, the wrap just had lettuce and tomato, and contained wrong meats - ham instead...

Cousins is absolutely phenomenal on so many different levels.The employees there are all so extremely kind and truly do their very best to get you what your looking to buy.The grill crew makes GREAT food and it's usually extremely quick . Everything from the grill is always so fresh as well.Cousins is a local mom and pop shop that you can get pretty much ANYTHING you need.From food to cigarettes to lottery ,quick grab and go pre made foods and even things like batteries,oil and chargers.You will not regret visiting this wonderful local...
