Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Berkeley

Placed an order online. Arrived about 10 minutes after the confirmed pickup time on the Chipotle App. Order was not ready -- they did not seem to be trying to fulfill any of the online orders. Restaurant was nearly empty. Eventually they tried to make my order. First they were out of guac. No problem. Then they tried to make my burrito, about 15 minutes after they were supposed to have the order ready. First they got the order wrong. When I told them they had the wrong order, they tried again. Then they realized they were out of barbacoa, and asked the kitchen for more. That's when I gave up. I asked for a refund, since they weren't able to complete my order in a timely manner. They told me they can't issue refunds for online orders, and I have to call customer service. 10 minutes on the phone later, and I have a refund. Overall, 30+ minutes invested,...

Been coming here for years and today 4/10/25 will be my LAST! This location usually has been very good with service and portions however this evening they failed. The portions are now SKIMPY SKIMPY for the burrito bowls. I mean they barely wanna put any rice and chicken on the bowl and it’s like wow this is how you lose customers. I’m not sure if leadership instructed them to be skimpy to the customers or what but it’s not cool for the amount of money spent. The older Caucasian guy that was making the bowls had a really lousy attitude on top of it all. A young lady that made my daughter burrito sloppy she got upset my daughter asked her to fix it. She threw away and left the board and never came back. Another young lady had to make our meal. Then when she came back to the front you start using foul language to her co works about how it upset her because of the situation. We paid and left. I can't believe she acted like that no one apologized They just all looked bewildered at the way she acted. How does she still have a job. My daughter was so embarrassed. I eat Chipotle at least once a week. But now I just don't know. Won't be back to this location and I am going to post this on my media feed as well. Wish I had record her...
