Peet's Coffee — Restaurant in Berkeley

I brought my uncle with Parkinson’s and ordered two coffees. He used to come here 1-2 times a day for years so I thought this was nice to bring him here. I ordered at 18.05 and they close at 7. He waited for the bathroom 15 min and was afterwards told they won’t open the toilet because they are closing at 7. 45 min before they actually closes! I asked them if he could please use the rest room as he can’t walk properly and they said no and didn’t really care. I have never experienced such bad, inhumane and careless service in my life. The coffee is absolutely excellent it's never been an issue the only issue is nowadays with the cell phones and all the mobile apps it's ridiculous just to walk into the place and try and get anything. I have been on there on quite a few occasions of late or I have had to wait over 15 plus minutes just to get a cup of coffee because of all the phone in and app orders that they have to do ahead of time. It's disgusting there is no customer service you walk to a place and you get served after the people that call in and order online to have some mobile app deliver their coffee to them it's disgusting what the world...

Coffee is great. One staff was arrogant and rude. I am senior and a bit slow. He did not ask what size I wanted and gave me a medium. When I said, "I wanted a small size and you didn't even ask me." He yelled, "You should know what you wanted when you came in here." I couldn't believe what I heard. There is something called customer service, which was unknown to him.
